This is foam, not plastic, which is better than I expected for a baby room. I was worried about it being plastic. It's soft to the touch. Shipping took quite a bit longer than expected due to weather this year, but other than that I was completely happy with this purchase.

We love this mirror and it looks so good in my sons grave digger themed bedroom! Sorry my pic doesn't do it justice I snapped it the day it came in from ikea and we were still in the middle of the room remodel, anyway if you it you won't be sorry but I would do a bit of ($) research before you buy it here if you get my drift. It's foam (not really a super soft foam but not a hard plastic feeling or nerf feeling either) on the outside and the Mirror isn't breakable & has great clarity so far it's stood up to my two year old - that's all he wants to mess with when he goes in big brothers room. The back has a little plastic hole built into so you can just rest it on a nail. Idk if I would give this to a child under 3 simply because it is a foam I would worry about them ingesting it - it's larger than I expected but in a good way. As for the green think nickelodeon slime green or a light lime maybe? It's pretty true to the pic
