Cuddle Cone Pet Recovery Cone Soft E-collar - Blue Denim (X-Small (8"-10"))

We tried 7 different cones for our American Eskimo after she had eye surgery. She HATED every single one, and was able to get out of all of them (she has a thick neck and small head). This one finally did the trick. It's shorter - goes just to the end of her nose, so she has a wider field of vision than the others. It's soft enough that she can lie down comfortably. She's gotten it off once or twice, but not as often as the other ones. FWIW, she's about 28 pounds, looks like a large pomeranian, and we found the small to fit the best.

My fault. I didn't pay enough attention to the obvious fact that my dog would not be able to see anything except what is directly in front of him. I prefer the transparent similar sized cones with cushioning around both neck and outer edges for comfort, safety and to reduce damage to furniture and walls. This one went back.

Bought this to ease my dogs stress over the standard e-collar. This is pretty heavy - very well made. It was a bit too heavy for my 16lb Peke to wear all the time ...but it is super soft..so I used it at night when she was kenneled - it was comfy to lie on. Also its thick...so take heat into consideration.

The hard plastic confusing cone of shame had to go! This soft, functional cone did the trick. We were very happy to be free of the antics associated with wearing the hard, plastic cone such as crashing into things, banging into the back of our legs, refusing to eat from the bowl, etc. The dog was much happier in the soft cone.

Although this cone is more comfortable than the plastic type it lacks stiffness and the dog has figured out how to fold it back so he can get to his incision. Would benefit from plastic stays placed around it.

Our dog seemed to find this collar very comfortable as she recovered. Plus, it washed up well. I would highly recommend this collar!

This is a great solution for pets that have to be in an e-collar for any length of time. It's soft to the touch, yet firm enough to keep it's shape. My cat seems to be much more comfortable with this "cone of shame", especially when she's sleeping.

Cat got this off within minutes. I would not recommend this for cats.
