Formula 10.0.6 So Totally Clean Deep Pore Cleanser w/Salicylic Acid

The scent is too strong and powdery/perfumey for me, but it works well for oily skin and breakouts caused by clogged pores. Dries them out quickly.

I'm 58 and I've been using this since I was 12 when it was Bonne Belle 10-0-6. I use it to clean my face every night, and in high school when friends struggled with acne I literally used to get one pimple a year. Sophomore year of college this disappeared from retail stores and I tried other similar products but my skin was not the same - dullness and noticeable blackheads. I was told this was part of aging, but a few years later when this finally came back my skin was noticeably clearer and brighter. This disappeared again when Bonne Belle was sold off and I had the same issue. I was beyond thrilled to find the same formula under a new name. I hope they never discontinue it in my lifetime. I recommend this to everyone, but especially if you have blackheads and acne.

While no longer bearing the Bonne Bell label, the description notes this is based on the original formula dating to 1933. I started to use it in the 70's before I eventually traded it for a well-known purple toner marketed to adults rather than teens. Having been disappointed that so many products over the years were downgraded when reformulated, when I rediscovered this, I was skeptical to try it, but couldn't resist. I was delighted to find the fragrance as refreshing as I remembered it, and that it worked just as it had way back when! Works every bit as well as similar alcohol-based products that are far pricier. I have also tried non-alcohol based cleansers and find they just don't work as well. Love that I found this inexpensive workhorse again, which works great at a fraction of the cost of these other similar products.

This is the real deal. Bonnie Bell 10-0-6. I am over 60 years and nothing takes off the day like 10-0-6. I use a makeup remover like Neutrogena wipes or Micellar and then sprinkle a little 10-0-6 on a cotton pad to whisk away the makeup remover residue. It is shocking how much residue remains but 10-0-6 digs deep and extracts all the makeup. Follow up with Vanicream Serum or Arden capsules for bedtime and your skin will thank you. I also like Vanicream moisturizer and ROC moisturizer.

I was so happy to find this. I started using Bonnie Bell 10-0-6 When I was in high school and after many years I could no longer find it. When i found it here and was able to start using it, I felt like I was back in school and I am 84 years old. Love this stuff.

Smells just like it did back in the day. Not sure why there's dye as some of the ingredients tho.

I have combination skin that is either too dry or too oily (especially around my nose, cheeks, and T-zone). I have been looking for something that I could apply after my wash to swipe on my face to make sure my pores are really clean. I found this product and have been using it for the past 4 weeks, and I have to say that it does do a really good job at getting it all out of your pores. With my skin type, I had to cut back the first week on using it. It would cause more dryness and tightness than usual, so instead of using it 2-3 times a day, I went with 1 (I would use it at night before bed). After about 1 1/2 weeks of that, I noticed my skin was starting to look brighter and healthier. I started using it 2 times a day (after morning and evening wash), and have ever since. So far, everything has been good. My face has been really smooth and I haven't noticed any breakouts (even small). This is a really good product for the price, so I would recommend it to anyone searching for something like this. Just make sure to ease up on it if you notice your face is feeling really tight and dryness starts! Everything else will be smooth sailing from there.
