These gel pens are really terrific! The white one is really unusual and a great addition. There is an identical set available from another vendor for $4 more, under a different name insert. Sooooooooooooo, purchasing from this vendor is preferable, for me. The glitter gel pens dry, fairly quickly. I've learned, as with all glitter gel pens, you need to color toward you, avoiding post coloring contact which may result in a little glitter on your hand or smearing any color. It's a precaution I'd recommend for any gel pen use. The colors are bright, easily applied, and nothing is wasted by excess on the tip after use. I'd recommend these for anyone who wants specificity in your coloring, drawing, etc. This set is a superior set, with many colors and options. As they didn't work, for me, the seller has included beautiful Purple, Red, Blue, Green, Gold and Silver metallic pens that are beautiful. When I first started using adult coloring pages, I was using only wax based colored pencils such as crayola and cra-z-art to color with. It was ok, but then I found out about gel pens (especially glitter) and my pages really started to come alive. I have tried many different brands and at different price levels. And there a lot of them, but each one has its own attributes whether it be point size or color variations.These pens are really easy to use and take little to no priming to get the color to flow evenly. I did have tighten the tip of a couple of the pens, most likely they came lose in shipping. Upon coloring with these pens for the review I did like the size of the tip, they are great for both large and small spaces and only a couple of them were scratchy instead of smooth, and if I am being totally honest I have never found a set yet that did not have at least 1 scratchy pen. I would recommend these pens to anyone who loves to color with gel pens. I did receive these pens at a discounted rate for my honest and unbiased review.

This purchase disappointed me. It arrived yesterday with my new adult coloring books. I have always used gel pens for my coloring and have found that some brands work better than others. This item was considerably cheaper than my other preferred brand. I regret purchasing it. I colored exactly one page, using a fair amount of green, but only one page and the green pen ran out of ink. Also, some of the lesser used/not as popular colors are hard to color or write with. They don't flow easily, such as the neon colors. The glitter pens do flow nicely though.Overall, I am just disappointed. I now have to order new pens and wait for them to arrive. I am leaving a message with the seller as well b/c this product does not meet the description. It does not last. ONE DAY... that's how long I've had it...ONE DAY.

I bought this set of gel pens as a present for my daughter. She loves it! She is an artist in the making... she likes that the pens come in a transparent package, so she has no problem selecting the exact color she needs. She loves that there are different kinds of gel pens - especially the "glitter ones" were a HIT!! and the color coding on the pens relates almost exactly to the color you get when you write/draw. The colors are vibrant and she was most taken with the GOLD & SILVER! She also liked the white one... she used it to make a snowflake picture on one of her black t-shirts...we love this product and we will purchase it again as a birthday present for one of my daughter's friends.

These pens have pretty colors, especially the sparkling ones. They get the work done, the ink comes out appropriately most of the times. I'd say these are best for beginners.Pros: nice flow of ink most of the times. Pretty sparkling colors.Cons: collection of colors is not ideal, e.g. only 1 shade of brown. Ink gets stuck occasionally. Ink goes down fast (probably won't last long).

I'm not a fan of the neon colors so I haven't really used them very much. I LOVE the metallics and the glitters but they do seem to skip sometimes and have to be shaken or "scribbled" to get them flowing again. Also the yellow glitter pen is more orange than yellow, almost exactly like the color of the stars on the Amazon reviews but with glitter.

I bought these for a gift to go along with two adult coloring books. I doubt there is enough ink in any one of the pens to last more than a day. I would be embarrassed to give them as a gift. They look very used. Plus some of the pens are cracked and broken into small pieces. I guess the old saying "you get what you pay for" is true.

They're okay pens. And no, I didn't get a discount or get them for free.Pros:Really pretty colors, ink mostly flows easily.Cons:Pen itself feels very cheap (sometimes will come unscrewed when I'm writing), some colors have frustrating bubbles in the ink, and the ink is used up pretty quickly. I doubt they'd be very useful for a medium sized or large coloring project.
