Inexpensive DVR - Easy to Operate - Decent Video Quality
I was surprised at how small this DVR was when I first opened up the box, at first this was a negative and later after use I realized that you do not want a large DVR blocking your view of the road. (In my opinion the WinPlus is the perfect size.)The second thing I noticed was the incredibly long power cable. At 11' 6" in length this cable seemed like overkill, but later when I went to mount the DVR I found that it was nice to have extra cable to work with. And the third pleasant surprise was that instead of a no-name micro-D card a 8gb SanDisk Class-10 card was included. The DVR kit also included a DVR mount, micro-USB cable, and a small pamphlet with operating instructions. I spent about 20 minutes going over the pamphlet, leaving the settings stock other than setting the date and time, and then I was ready to mount it and go for a test drive. Note: The DVR has a built-in battery so you do not have to have it plugged in to change settings or view recordings.Mounting the DVR was easy, I picked a spot just below the mirror so as not to block my view and give me access to the buttons on the DVR. I plugged the power cable into the car's power outlet and ran the power cable under the dash, up the right side windshield pillar, and then over the passenger sun visor and then down to the DVR. There was lots of cable left over, I simply tide the extra cable off.As for usage, I started off with the stock settings so when I started the car after a few seconds the DVR made a chiming noise and came to life. It immediately went into the record mode and recorded my drive. During the drive I was easily able to easily adjust the angle of the camera to my liking. When I came to a stop and turned off the car after 10 seconds the DVR made another chime noise in powered off. Note: You can also choose to have the DVR stop recording if no motion is sensed such as while being stuck at a stop light or while you are parked.I was able later able to view the recorded videos on the DVR was also able to view the videos on my computer and on my television using a standard size HDMI cable. The video files were 3-minutes long. You also have a choice of video recording lengths of 5-minutes, 10-minutes, or you can turn off loop recording. You can also choose to record with or without audio. Note: Once the storage card is filled with video segments it will begin recording (looping) over the oldest video. You are able to save video segments while driving so they do not get recorded over with a click of a button or if the G-Sensor is turned on this feature will automatically save a video segment if an impact is detected. The picture quality was 1080p and that though not GoPro quality would be perfectly usable for documenting an accident. The camera also has the ability to take pictures which surprisingly look good. You can also choose lower video record rates as well as adjust the exposure settings.Note: This camera also has a LED light for night viewing. These types of cameras are not ideal however for recording night driving as any light provided by LEDs will simply reflect off the windshield. I have numerous cameras including some high-end home surveillance cameras and they will also not record through glass using LED lighting.Pros:InexpensiveEasy to operatePicture quality is goodIncludes a SanDisk Class-10 micro-SD cardGenerous 11'6" power cable greatly increases your mounting optionsHas a built-in standard-size HDMI portCons:Video quality is only fair (perfect useable for documenting an incident however)Bottom line, I think this camera is a steal for this price. If you were ever in an accident and were not at fault the video from this camera would be priceless. Of course if the accident is your fault the camera is small enough to stick in your pocket while saying, what camera?I hope this helps. I will try and post a video when I get more time.

Decent basic dashcam
I wanted to get some sort of "dashcam" camera for when I drive in case I have an accident or other issues while driving and there were quite a few out there....which surprised me and most at a decent price. After a few days of debating, I settled on this WinPlus device to try for my first dashcam camera for my vehicle. It's pretty easy to use and comes with a name brand San Disk 8 gb micro SD card also...a nice bonus! I will get a 32 gb micro SD card to use instead since it will last longer before recording over the prior recordings. It's smaller than expected but not a big deal with me. Plug it into the cigarette lighter and the item turns on as soon as you turn your vehicle on. Video quality is fair, but I did not expect superior video quality anyways....but it does just fine. Only minor issue I have is if you are driving into the sun later in the afternoon into early evening hours, the window glares and will affect video quality a lot with this device. With the sun either behind you, overhead or simply a cloudy day, this item works just fine with no problems. I have not tried this device at night yet since I do not drive at night. Overall, easy to use, pretty basic dash cam for your vehicle and pretty small also. Comes with a suction cup mounting device. Seems silly to have to remove the entire device...suction cup mounting device and the dash cam at the same time. It would have been nice if this product had a much easier way to leave the mounting bracket on the windshield and remove the dash cam itself. I gave this item 4 stars simply because mostly of the mounting bracket itself and having to either remove all of the item...including the mounting bracket or leave it all in your vehicle while it's parked and risk having it stolen.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT...IT IS TERRIBLE
The power runs out constantly, and the instructions are impossible to understand. Every time I record a video, it breaks it up into short little clips. You cannot get it to record anything continually. You have to navigate the many technical options with only a up and down arrow, "ok" button, a "P" button, and don't forget the "!" button. The night vision is not all that is advertised. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

but the instructions are poor (bad English translation)
The device works well, but the instructions are poor (bad English translation), and software does not work with windows. I have to pull the memory card out of the device and stick it in my computer to download.

Pretty good!
Turned off the g-shock "feature" and the microphone. Had to put tape over the light since it wanted to stay on. But don't get me wrong this is a great little cam. It's nice knowing you can pull the video off and review it when you get home if something happens. For the price it's a must have.
