A great find
Antilope is my wife's favorite fragrance and I have not been able to find it for over 10 years. I heard Weil was purchased and the new owners have begun to produce this very traditional line of fragrances. It is a Christmas gift so we'll if the fragrance is what it is supposed to be.

Rat Poison
This is not the Antilope I rememeber from the 50's. This is a fusty old dowager's perfume that has been sitting in the back of a closet gathering dust. How perfectly horrid this is. Overly spicy and musky.

Good
I won't order again bc it smells so much like Chanel 5, and I have that..I don't remember Antilope smelling like this in the 70s! So, that's why I only gave it 3 stars. I remember it having a more musky scent!

Antilope Eau De Cologne Spray
I've been using this fragrance for 30 years and it is getting hard to find in the cologne. I think the parfum is too heavy.I get so many compliments wearing Antilope, as the fragrance suits me and is not overpowering.

Joyous nostalgia via Antilope
My 96 year old Mom was smiling through tears of nostalgia. Memories evoked were shared with joyous laughter. Mahalo!

Not a good product!
Not even close to the original I used in 1970!That’s a scam! As far as I can tell it’s a $1 version of Channel

A Ghost of It's Former Self
Standing on it's own, I wouldn't call Antilope rat poison. But, if you have ever smelled the original, this one will leave you scratching your head. It comes down to a company dusting off a classic and remaking it with cheap, modern ingredients. Granted, perfumiers are no longer legally allowed to use Civet oil or oak moss (which gives perfume a wonderful green smell), but they could have at least made an attempt to smell like the original. This version of Antilope smells like the Designer Imposter version you would find at the Everything $1 Store. From Perfume Intelligence:The 1928 version: A floral-woody aldehyde chypre parfum with notes of tangerine, neroli, galbanum, acacia farnesiana, narcissus, hyacinth, ylang-ylang, May rose, lily of the valley, oak moss, civet, sandalwood and musk, classified D3f.The 2006 version: Re-orchestration of the original parfum with modern ingredients, an edp with notes of sage, Grasse neroli, bergamot, chamomile, lily of the valley, jasmine, patchouli, iris, ambergris, and vetiver.
