One Star isn't really fair as I returned the product before using. This is a gigantic tube. 30 ounces as compared to 10 ounces for a regular size tube of caulk. This WILL NOT fit in a normal caulk gun you have to have a special one.

So far a great product, it did self level very nicely.My only issue with it was with me, as this was my first use of a self leveling product.Comes out of the tube much thinner than I expected, protecting area's around where you want this product is a must.Great product, will use again.

I used this product five years ago to seal the gap between my coping and concrete around the pool. Perhaps I forgot how long this product takes to dry...Almost not worth the time and effort. After ten hours, leaves and dog hair blew onto the grout line. Very frustrating. I wish I had options for another similar product.

I purchased Limestone Tremco Vulkem 45 SSL One-Part Semi-Self Leveling Polyurethane sealant from ShowerDoor Direct through Amazon to replace wood expansion joints in the terrace around my pool. It took a couple of days longer to arrive that I am used to but was packed very well and arrived in perfect condition. As explained below, the sealant works very well as long as one asks it to do what it is intended to do. It has great adhesion and leveling.After removing the rotted old wood expansion joints, I installed Closed Cell Backer Rod but initially I did not use a wide enough Backer Rod and when I applied the sealant it ran down anywhere that was open and this caused me to waste a large amount of sealant and it is impossible to get it to level properly. Then I got wider Backer Rod and made sure it was level and that there were no openings. Then the sealant worked great.It skins over in an hour or so so you can use it even if it is going to rain later in the day. The final result doesn't show any minor imperfections that one notices as one is applying the stuff because of the leveling quality of the material. It looks very professional and I would recommend it. Please note, however, that this sealant is only for level areas. If you need sealant for anything with a grade, this is not the proper product.

Returned product because the tubes were way too big and did not do like I wanted.

It took a little while to get used to how this flows and settles, but it came out nice. One section developed some bubbles- I'm not sure why. Once it starts to film over, do not attempt to add any more- it won't settle properly. Order more than you think you need.

I ordered this to re-caulk around my in-ground pool. The old sanded caulk had started cracking and I found this item here on Amazon at the best price around. I ordered the items and received quick shipment. I installed backer rod before installation, made sure the seam was clean, and applied the sealant. It self-leveled wonderfully and was not a problem to go back and add more in areas that were a little too low after leveling. It was slow to set which gave me plenty of time to correct any low spots. I added fine white sand on top after making sure everything looked good. It took it a couple of days to get fully cured, since the weather was a little cool at the time in the 40' to 60's. All in all it went well, and I am very pleased. Just be sure you order enough and realize that this is only for horizontal seams and will not work in vertical seams. The color was exactly as pictured, a light gray. I had to leave an extra sidewalk seam undone until my new order came in because I didn't order enough, so I would order an extra tube. The manufacturer site has a chart that will show you the amount you should need based on linear feet, seam width and depth.

This is not for amateurs! This product requires knowledge, so please read up on it before you use it, or you will have a mess on your hands. I used it to fill in the stress cut's on my pool deck and it turned out great! This is a "Self Leveling" product and that means that it is on the wet side and it meant for use on fairly level surfaces. It took about 12 hours or more for it to cure completely. i put it on my deck at night and was using the pool the next day! FYI, if you are using it to fill long straight voids like I did you will need to tape off both sides of the joint (cut/seam) with masking tape, apply good amount in void and go back and smooth out with the side of your fingers. Once it cures for about 10 minutes go back and pull the tape off. This needs to be done when the product is still wet to make sure it lays down smoothly after the tape is removed.
