Phat Farm Men's Boston Brown Moc Toe Boots

I have to admit, these are really comfortable, casual and light boots. They came rather quickly in the mail. I would probably say the only knock on the boots is that the soles are a little slippery but I think I'll just scrape it against the concrete to get a little more support. But overall, I am satisfied.

They look great on my husband and I love the classic casual look. Great looking material, looks modern. But once they got soaked during a rainstorm and the next day after they dried, they started squeaking loudly. He removed the insoles that were glued and put baby powder overnight. This didn't help. The squeak was being caused by the outer material rubbing against the sole where they meet or are attached. He sprayed lubricant around the entire shoe along the outer seam and voila, no more squeaking.

My husband usually wears Nike athletic shoes, so he needed a pair of shoes just in case. He actually said thank you for them the other day when he was wearing them. They have not given him back problems and they look nice! He doesn't wear them often, so I do not know how they would hold up with lots of use, but the few times he has to dress up a year, they are perfect!

These were the style i was going for but in all honesty the material these are made of is kinda cheap. Almost cardboard boxy. Im sure these wont last very long and they're not that comfortable.

The arch was the only thing lacking. I inserted insoles and that made all the difference.
