Notice that the previous reviewers had not yet opened the package and tried to play with it yet.Well, playing becomes a problem. About half of the dresses have neck holes too small to put around Barbie's head. You have to decide whether to cut them or only use them on Barbie's whose heads pop off. So, you get what you paid for. My six year old still enjoyed playing with these dresses, but it took a lot of work on my behalf to modify them to make them functional. I would not buy this set again, despite the great price.Also, it should be noted that the doll that comes with the set is very low quality. So low that strands of hair fall out when you touch her head.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my 4 year old daughter. Within an hour of opening, the leg had popped off and was unreparable (the shaft to which the leg attached collapsed so you couldn't reattach). The crazy thing about this doll is that the way you put on about 75% of the dresses requires you to remove the dolls head and slip the small halter-like neck strap over the neck then reattach the head. So when the doll broke, you cannot even use the dresses with other Barbies. Most of the dresses are made of an almost paper-like fabric so I'm not sure they would have lasted very long anyways. What a waste of money, don't purchase this doll for your children!

WOW.....WOW! I LOVE this set! It is for my daughter & I know she will love it too. Quality seems great....the price amazing and I got it a lot quicker than the estimated delivery time.

This is a super dress-up set for the little girl in your life. The doll is medium quality. Mine came with long, brunette combable hair. And she has a pretty painted (or decalled) face - I really can't tell which. The arms move at the shoulders and her head turns (and can be pulled off).Madilynn came dressed in a very pretty floor-length lavender and white gown.She also comes with a large brush and a satchel, or maybe it's supposed to be a purse. The box she comes in has a carrying handle so she can be stored in it with all her wardrobe.And her wardrobe! That's the best part. She comes with 40 dresses, most of them glittery or fancy looking in some way. Be warned that these aren't sewn the very best. They don't have seams but have the edges cut with pinking shears so they don't ravel. But they still look pretty darn good, especially when you consider the price ($24.95 today on Amazon). Each dress is different. Some materials have been used for more than one dress but in different ways so the dresses are unique.The set is recommended for children 3+ years because of small parts.Oh, and no shoes are included at all with the set.I wish I'd had this when I was a kid. I bought this for my best friend’s 3 year old daughter who opened it on New Year’s Eve. All night long I was receiving pictures and videos from my drunk best friend and the guests at her house for New Year’s Eve dying with how ridiculous and cheaply made this doll and the clothing are. The clothing are all basically made out of paper, the barbies legs look like the poor Barbie is near death from starvation, there’s a giant patch of hair missing, and the head pops off. You have to remove the Barbie’s head in order to put the dresses on the Barbie. My friend said it was worth the money due to the entertainment it provided for them all night because they were dying laughing with how ridiculous this present was. Lol.
