They work!!
My doctor gave me these for severe heel pain from plantar faciatis. I wore for a few weeks, but thought they were too hard for me and switched to Powerstep Protech which I really liked and had more of a cushioned feel. After my dog chewed on the left one (the one I needed) I substituted the Dubides and they don't seem to be too hard for me now that I am accustomed to wearing an insert. I find that they do get hot though hence the 4 star rating.
