Simply Pine Natural Cat Litter, 7 lb

HOLY GRAIL LITTER!! I have tried so many litters for my two cats. I have been on a perpetual search (and my cats have been very patient with me) to find a littler that controls odor in my TINY NYC apartment and that DOESN'T TRACK. Luckily they are not fussy and switch litters without a hitch. They have long hair so the World's Best Clumping litter would stick to their fur (and track), the crystals would track everywhere and didn't control odor, the Blue Walnut Pellets tracked minimally and controlled odor well but was so dark brown that....it was difficult to find the poop to scoop. But THIS litter controls odor better than anything I have ever tried, you wouldn't know I had two cats. It also doesn't track beyond the litter-catching mat outside the box, and it is light in color so no issue with scooping!! Please be warned not all cats like this though - my mom's cat refused to use it. Test it with your cat and if he is fussy mix it half and half with what he is used to and gradually change over.The. Absolute. Best. I wish I found this 5 years ago.

I will be honest, I have a cat that is an over eater and uses his liter box more then the average cat. Which is probably equivalant to 2 cats. I bought this product to mask the smell and not to have to deal with clay liter being tracked all over the house. This liter does not mask any smell what so ever and definitely does not last that long. I went thru this 7lb bag in one week due to the smell and how quickly it all turns to dust. That would be the only plus is you know when its time to change the liter. Other then that I would not recommend this product to anyone with the same cat issues or multiple cats. The liter actually makes the liter box smell worse once the cat uses it.

Too pellet-y to be litter. Doesn't cover waste, doesn't clump, doesn't degrade, cat didn't hate it but it's just a pretty face, so to speak. I didn't finish the bag but went to a mix of corn (Integrity) and cracked pine (Healthy Pet) instead.

This is one of the only things I find on amazon that is more expensive than at the local grocery store. Both claim to be organic and simple but the cost doesn't mean you're getting better from my testing. Good product overall, tons better than the saw dust crap that ends up all over your house; this one just isn't cost effective enough for m.

This is a good kitty litter. It is 'semi-clumping' for urine. I first used it because the shelter where I adopted my kittens used this. One good feature is that it is fairly light weight compared to other litters.

Like many reviewers on here, I was once a devotee to Feline Pine until Arm and Hammer bought them and RUINED a perfectly good product. I thought it was just my imagination when I was having to change the litter in my cat's litterbox more than weekly when it used to last 1.5-2 weeks. I was so bummed. But, alas, Simply Pine has saved the day. Simply Pine works like Feline Pine did in the good 'ol days and it may be even better than that. The pellets are more crushed so I do think its a softer experience for kitty. The pellets absorb great and I don't need to change the litter until 1.5-2 weeks later. The box doesn't reek of cat pee anymore like it as with Feline Pine. Also (and all cats are different) my cat didn't have any issue transitioning to this from Feline Pine. I gradually mixed in the Simply Pine but after a few changes, I went completely Simply Pine and shes done fine with it. I am so happy to have found Simply Pine.

I could not be happier with this litter! Kitty is being kept in the bedroom of a new apartment, and this litter has absolutely zero offensive scent to disturb me as I sleep. She took to it with zero complaint; I didn't need to transition her in any way, although the bag recommends mixing it with your old litter if your cat is more finicky than mine.This worked perfectly to solve something that was becoming a health issue for kitty: her refusal to pee in the middle of the litter box, leading to impossible to remove clumps on the walls that built up over time and even my boyfriend couldn't scrape off. With this non clumping litter that's no problem, I can clean the pan myself and kitty gets a safe and healthy toilet every time.Both me and her are much happier on pine pellet litter.

Makes house smell like giant cat box.
