Excellent quality, worked much better than the over the counter versions made in china.Used to repair the studs on my BMW 535M M30B35 something I was glad to dodge the machine shop price on, this isn't a very common version of the engine either. Also saved me from having to pull the head from the block, which I already recently did once, and didn't want to do again before I got to drive it!The new headers sound fantastic, and the studs are holding strong! Great product. I used these to repair pulled threads on 3 different used transmissions (all aluminum cases). I was able to repair small threads (m8) all the way up to larger motor mount threads (M14) successfully. These are very strong but you should be careful installing these. The inserts are essentially tightly wound springs, so if you try to force these in you risk pulling the winding apart and ruining the insert. Even so, my last repair took less than 10 minutes from start to finish.

Easy to install after drilling and tapping
Uses these to repair damaged threads in an aluminum head for the can housings. Easy to install after drilling and tapping. The bolts didn't bind during install. I had to purchase more inserts to finish both side and purchased the Heli-coil brand. These causes the bolts to bind. Destroyed the threads on the bolts and had to redo those.

works great! awesome price.
cheaper than helicoil for basically the same product! came with a ton of coils, tap, and a tool to spin the coil into place. I used this to fix messed up stud threads on a vintage vespa rear hub (cast aluminum). coils are stainless steel. you'll need to buy the required 21/64" drill bit yourself. I got this Bosch bit: http://www.amazon.com/Bosch-CO2148-64-Inch-Cobalt-Jobber/dp/B000AEQQX6/

Lesser known brand - works exactly the same
Worked perfect for less money than the well known competitor. I have always used the "other brand" and they work well. But this is the same exact thing only you are not paying for the name. this will be my go to brand now. Good product.

Solved my problem
It was fairly easy to use and fixed the issue with the threads on the piece of cast iron that I had to drill the broken bolt out of. I'll order the 6mm version to fix some stripped mounting holes in my intake and any other spots where the previous owner got too excited with the impact wrench.

Quality kit, no surprises.
This kit does everything you need to install repair threads. I used this to fix the stripped out holes on my motorcycle for the mirrors to mount. Very easy to use. I'll be buying more as I need different sizes.

Worked well
I used this to refurbish a caliper hole in a 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan knuckle. It felt pretty solid and the Caravan stopped well for the first few months. Since the Caravan has been stolen I can't talk about long-term performance.
