Psychological Testing 7th Edition

EXCELLENT book for anyone who wants or needs to know more about Psychological Testing. The book is well laid out and provides wonderful examples of various tests, their formulations, and reasons for their creation. Not everyone's favorite subject, sure, but a highly useful book none the less. When I say "easy to read" I mean easy to read for THIS subject, as in, a lot less convoluted than other books about the same subject.

I am required to have this text for grad school. The used copy I just received is in perfect condition at a fraction of the cost of a new OR used one from the school bookstore!! I would add that service has been great!

Good book over test and measurements in psychology. Many articles refer to Anastasi and Urbina so this is nice to have as a reference book.

had to purchase this book for a college course im taking this summer, so didnt want to spend the full price on the book in any retail stores. this was much cheaper and convient by waaay more then anything else ive found! great purchase!

I think this book has come to stay. Great book.

She does a decent job of exposing the different test types, the responsibilities on the test takers and givers as well their moral obligation so on and so forth.

Text is fine from a historical perspective, but I'm disappointed that my graduate program is using a text that is over 15 years old. Many of the referenced in the book are to articles written in the mid 90s, and obviously a bit dated. While I'm sure it was a cutting edge text in its day, it is a little overdue for an update.I purchased the book used from Amazon, and was a little disappointed in the description. It was listed as good condition, but I have never see a book with so much highlighting in it. I don't know what the students were thinking when they highlighted page after page. I have never smelled highlighter when I cracked a book, but I did when I started reading this one. Didn't leave myself enough time to return and try my luck with another copy (my fault), but I do wish it was noted to have significant highlighting.

I don't know what to say about this book. It has some paper with some words written on it talking about psychological testing. It has served its purpose.
