Perfect for my needs, ordered a second one the next day.
I ordered one to try and was so impressed that I ordered a second one for my other thumb the next day. It is exactly as pictured. First of all it was navy blue with a bright red lining instead of black and is very well made. The copay of the one my hand surgeon insisted I purchase at his office was pennies shy of $59.00, but it should have cost $10 at the most and doesn't fit as well as this one nor is it as well designed. This one has a slightly bendable removal splint for the thumb. I remove it during the day so I can still easily use my thumb but still has enough support to protect and provide comfort. I reinsert it at bedtime to keep it straight and decrease stress on my arthritic thumb joints. The strap at the base of the hand and wrist provide some support but probably not enough if you have carpal tunnel symptoms. Then you might want 306, 308, 309, 703, or 706. I have small hands with short fingers and debated if I should order the xsmall or small size. Since my hands swell in the summer, I chose the small size which is a snug fit on my thumb in cool weather and I likely will be ordering two of the medium size then. If I find this brace isn't as durable as I think it should be, I'll write an update.

My Dr. Gave me the free hospital brace after saying I had de quervain syndrome. This glove really helps.

No buyer's remorse here
To my surprise, this simply-designed brace really fortified my thumb so much so that I am back to playing volleyball competitively. It most definitely beats taping my thumb up. There were so many choices in braces and I'm so glad I scored this gem.

This is the best thumb stabilizer. It's sized, fits well and is comfortable. I bought another one initially that was too big and loose.

Not worth $25. Same as the $8 ones
Velcro already not holding after a couple of hours. The last $8 one i had was as good or better than this one. Avoid
