Replacement Surface Sheet for Archetype 1030

The Archetype 1030 mouse pad may be the best surface my mouse and hands have ever graced! I owned an Archetype 1030 MBA version for 8+ years and finally I saw some wear. I considered myself a pretty hardcore gamer during the times of using this surface. I would easily put in 5-8 hours a day into the mouse pad with some serious movement in games such as Call of Duty/Counter-Strike/Battlefield. This mouse pad felt great and had excellent resilience with the daily gamer grind.I did recently try to replace my Archetype 1030 mouse pad with a Logitech G440 mouse pad, because I use a Logitech G602 mouse at the moment. However, this change resulted in some high frustrations with the sharp edges of that mouse pad. I decided to keep the G440 as my mouse pad for work as it surely is not fitted for a serious gamer. That same day, I ordered this replacement sheet to renew the life of my current Archetype 1030 mouse pad. With the quality and experience of the previous surface, I know I can count on this to last me for years to come.Here are my quick PROS/CONS:+Smooth and textured sides to choose depending on what you like+Comfortable and stays very clean from use+Long lasting: My previous surface lasted 8+ years and still is usable-This one doesn't fit my aluminum base like a glove, it does have a little wiggle to itI highly recommend this for those thinking to stray away from their Archetype 1030!

WARNING: They have changed the texture of the mousepad, I recently bought a sheet, and they are not as slick and rough as they once was.If you bought a surface sheet a couple years ago, they will not be as slick as they once were.I switched from archetype 1030 to the F-Series mousepad, hopefully that will be better.I'm not certain if they have to change the quality due to poor sales, so to increase the profit margin or what, but definitely not the same product. I will no longer be buying this particular model

Had the mousepad for about 10 years, and it was amazing to replace just the pad and bring back the smooth mousing surface that I had waxed so many nubes with!!

Perfect. Best mouse pad ever, and I am glad I could find more surfaces for them.
