Traditional Tanners Buffalo Robes, Hides & Rugs: Naturally Tanned

I am a semi truck driver and take this in my truck especially if I have to cross the Rockies. It keeps me warm down to 10 below without having to run the truck all night long. It has not lost any fur in 3 years now . Wish I could afford another but this one is enough ....

Love this! Far softer and more comfortable than I expected. It did have a moderately strong odor of wood smoke (part of the natural tanning process) which was not at all unpleasant, and dissipated over a few days. Although it would make a soft and luxurious rug, I would far rather snuggle in it. It is draped over the back of my sofa for now, but winter will be here before you know it.

I've shopped for bison robes for a couple years, so I've seen and handled dozens of them. This hide is the best of them all. It's huge, the fur is thick and the back of it is soft and supple. It's a showpiece! We loved the robe so much that we ordered another and that one is just as beautiful.Some of the reviews mention it has a smell to it. It does. It smells like wood smoke, which is how the hide is processed. We love the scent of it! It's been a couple weeks and the scent has faded. We've joked about asking the company if they could 'recharge' the scent for us.If you want to spoil yourself or a loved one with a stunner of a gift, this is it!

So if you are the type of person too look at something online and wonder if the product is legit or not, you tend to read review after review, and in the end you still aren't sure unless you see it for yourself. But DONT WORRY, this is a top quality hide! One of the best I've ever seen so far. From the moment I opened the box and saw it I was amazed with how well the tanning process was executed.So much soo that due too a lack of preferable living conditions, my pictures dont do the justice this hide deserves. Got the good ol government issued full size bed that the hide fully covers. It's nice and heavy for these Alaskan winters and look forward too having this for a very long time.Thank you so very much for this amazing hide! Perfect. Thick, heavy, very warm, very soft for a hide.Covers a queen sized bed exactly.Arrived rapidly and well packaged. Hide was in a sealed plastic bag inside a large cardboard box.Comes with care instructions.No complaints, extremely pleased with the product.

Very happy with the hide. Exceptionally soft and high quality. Just for others to be a aware there maybe some spots that are sewn on the leather side. The sewn parts are done well but I would imagine that it is very difficult to get a flawless hide off such a large animal. It does not affect the enjoyment or the durability of the product at all. Looking forward to enjoying the hide for many years to come. We were very excited to receive the product and always look forward to spend quality time using it. It's very versatile for comfort and beauty. It rotates between bed cover, robe and rug for special occasions.

I have hunted and kept hides my whole life and will say this is hands down the nicest work I have ever seen. I will cherish this forever.

Wish someone would’ve warned about the smell. Don’t know if it’s the tanning process or the animal. But gave a few in the household a headache. Hope the smell goes away, but love everything else about it. So soft and beautiful
