And it's 1 gang I assume?** A: Yes we have installed it on a Towel Warmer in the past but it works best when it's on its own circuit. **Q: how do I turn on and off the light in the fan?** A: You can not do that with this timer switch. It only control one outlet. Everything on or everything off . If you want to turn off the light on the fan there may be a switch on the fan to let you do that **Q: Is there a way to override the timer function and keep the power on until manually turned off?** A: The large button will turn the fan/light on for however many minutes is selected on the right 40 30 20 10. There is no way to keep it on for any longer than those times.
