Perfect!
Works amazingly well. (My review will be based on computer use)SOUND QUALITY: Perfect and other people can hear me perfectly as well; no air, no static, no bleeps in and out, no missed words or syllables, sounds like the person is in the room, etc.THINGS THAT COULD AFFECT QUALITY: I have high speed internet service with fast download and upload speeds which ABSOLUTELY will affect quality. Slow "streaming effects" will affect the rate at which audio is sent and received, and slower internet speeds will create the same "buffering effects" that happen when streaming video. Do not expect it to be any different this device. Blame this on your internet speed...not the phone.SKYPE: It works perfectly with skype, and if you have no problems currently streaming skype, then this phone "shouldn't" give you any problems.ECHO on Computers: You MUST have a SINGLE 3.5 audio/mic jack on your computer, or the mouthpiece/speaker/mic will not work and the mic that will be working is the mic on your computer which will send an echo to your earpiece when you talk.3.5 MIC JACK or ADAPTER a MUST: You MUST have a SINGLE 3.5 audio/mic jack on your computer, or the mouthpiece/speaker/mic will not work. If you have a DUAL jack arrangement on your computer (one jack for headphones + one jack for microphone) you will need to purchase an ADAPTER. I purchased a Native Union Moshi USB adapter and it works beautifully AND has great sound quality as well. link for adapter ---> http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0055UDSTA/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1HELPFUL NOTE: unplug when not in use or you won't hear your phone ring.IMPOSTER NOTICE: Due to other reviews talking about seeming imposters, I will tell you that the one I purchased is the official Echo Logico handset and came in an official sealed Echo Logico box (the ones you have to cut open that drive us all crazy but is an assurance of originality) and the Echo Logico stamp is on the phone. It is NOT a sticker...The logo is "soldered" into the phone material.

Perfect for Longer Cell Phone Calls
I love this item. Besides the nostalgia, it actually makes being on the cell phone for long calls much more comfortable. Also, it cradles perfectly between ear and shoulder just like its ancestors used to, which means you can have both hands free to do other things while you are on the phone (put your phone in your pocket and cradle the earpiece), even look at your phone screen which is impossible when you are holding the cell phone to your ear. The pick up/hang up button works fine and you are keeping the radiation farther from your head. Cord is a nice strong one just like the old ones, but it is a bit lighter in weight than the old ones. Sound quality is great and works well with Skype calls, basically anywhere you can plug in a 3.5mm headphone jack.Edited to add that this item did work great for a while but eventually people on the other end could no longer hear me - I don't understand why that seems to happen so often with these types of handsets, especially when they are well-cared for and not abused. It was great while it lasted but am thinking with the failure rate I am seeing of most of these hand held "phones" that the price should reflect what a disposable item it is. Removed three stars as I see no reason why these should not last a LOT longer than they do without malfunctioning. :(

Like flying first-class; one of the most comfortable and enjoyable ways of talking on one's cellphone.
First, I love using a handset for my cellphone, it's a lot more comfortable and the sound quality is usually a little bit better. My first cellphone handset that I used was a "Native Union Solo Handset - MM05-BLK-ST - Black Soft Touch"; it's a 'modern' styled handset that I purchased several years ago. However, over time and a lot of use, the sound quality started to have problems as the plug for the handset started becoming loose. So, I started looking for another handset. After reading the reviews, I purchased this Echo Logic Retro Handset - Soft Touch. Once I started using it, I liked this much much more than the one above. The form factor is the classic style that I grew up with an upgrade; the plastic is sturdy, but it does feel soft and comfortable both in my hand and against my head. It's like having the classic phone version 2.0 for modern times. Comparing the form factor of the Native Union, I much preferred this classic design for comfort (although it is larger). The sound quality is just as good or better; this may be due to much better cabling--if you look at the handset connector, this model has a much more reliable 90-degree turn (and the connecting head is much thicker), so it'll probably last longer. Also the cabling is much thicker, I'm looking at both of the cables right now and this model's cabling is about twice the diameter as the Native Union model.Overall, this is a joy to use and I recommend it to anyone that uses their cellphones regularly or for making long phone calls. It's like flying first class when making phone calls; I really wouldn't want to talk on my phone any other way.
