So so product
Could be my fault for not realizing it's super cheap plastic for the claws. Really was expecting something a bit higher quality.

No meat claws came with my purchase
I received the gloves, but did not receive the meat claws or book. I had ordered for the claws and thought why not pay a little extra and get the gloves....needless to say I'm very disappointed.

GREAT DUO - CAN'T WAIT TO GET MY E BOOK
I saved the box that my Silicone cooking gloves and bear claws came in because it will make a great gift box; especially, if you’re going to be mailing something (which I intend to do!). Anyway, let’s get down to the nitty gritty . First things first, the gloves are FDA approved which means the silicone will not harm the food when they come into contact with it. Also, these are not made with the woman in mind – they are strictly made for a man. (hint, hint) . I believe it would even take a man a little while to get accustomed to them because of the way they are made. In any case, they work well as far as being heat resistant. Also, the bubbles on the palm side (are they heart shaped or is it just me?) is another plus for these gloves by helping you get a better grip on things; especially, if you get any grease/sauce on them. Lucky for me, they were rather huge and I was able to get them off; but I bet if they really fit good on someone’s hand, they just might have a hard time getting them off due to them being rather slippery (that’s what a hand towel is for, right?). Being the woman that I am, I have used these as a hot pad for setting hot dishes on.Now for the meat claws/shredder! Why didn’t I have a set of these before now?! It sure enough beats using forks and a lot easier on the hands. Besides the fact that they can withstand an intense amount of heat, they are easy to hold and manipulate any way you like. They are made of a heavy-duty plastic and clean easily. I like the ergonomic shape and hollow-backed prongs because I have a place to put my finger tips, ensuring a better grip and easier to control. These are so versatile. Besides using them to shred your meat, you can use them to lift meat, hold whatever you’re carving, etc. Because they are made so well, I bet they will last a very long time.I haven’t received my e-book yet. Therefore, I will have to wait to give any input on that.I received this product at a discounted rate to review, giving you my honest and unbiased assessment of said product. Awesome!
I picked these up on one of those discount review websites to help out our Scout Troop when we are making BBQ pork. I have to say, this set is awesome! The gloves work exactly as stated. I am able to grab anything right out of the oven with no problems. They are designed to be washed and cleaned easily, and have amazing grip and texture on them. The claws are exactly what the doctor ordered for shredding meat. I can't wait to pull out the smoker at our next camp out.My only words of caution, if any, are these; First, wash them as soon as they arrive. They have a clear manufacturing smell on them, likely from residue in the making.Second, if your hands are XL, you may have a bit of a challenge in getting them on and off. I generally wear Medium sized gloves, and they fit me pretty good. I would imagine a size L would work as well, but, an XL may be a bit of a snug fit. Check some of the other reviews by someone with larger hands for a clearer opinion just in case. All in all, you can't go wrong with these as they are clearly designed to function just as described. And, the PDF book was a nice bonus as well.
