Introduction to Quantum Mechanics

I can't love this book enough! I have always wanted an original cambridge copy of this book. The moment I saw I could buy one—there was only one left, I grabbed it immediately. The book is more than perfect for the price that I got it—₹999. It was packaged properly and was BRAND NEW. The pages are heavenly and the binding is like the fine structure constant—just perfect! Everything about this copy is wonderful and I think any serious student of physics MUST own one. Please but this immediately as soon as it becomes available again.

Prof Griffith as always conjures very well thought examples and problems to deepen the readers knowledge of quantum theory. But I always think that their should be a chapter on history of quantum theory. Also most of the questions are of different types so we need to refer other books for practicing same type of problems to see if we have understood how to do Quantum Theory:)

The books is a very good one. Bought hardback edition but delivered paperback indian edition. So, I have returned it. Although this indian edition book has very good paper, binding and printing quality. After returned re-ordered from Sawhney Book Sales and delivered me the exact copy described as per Amazon. Thank you from the honesty of the seller and Amazon.

Book was in. Good condition and this is a standard book for reading physics in many graduate ang post graduate courses but it's a little difficult sometimes

I ordered this book from Rashtriya Book Depot Seller. The book that came was a bit damaged from the corner. The Initial pages were also ordered incorrectly and the print qualiy was low. The edges of letters in print were rough and inconsistent. I found the whole thing sketchy and immediately applied for return. But I really wanted this book so this time I bought it from a more well rated seller not the default one. The book took a week to deliver as it was all the way from Bangalore but the quality of the book was well worth it. The packages was tight, print quality is very good and pages correctly ordered. Good Book Bad Seller case.

The book is not of good quality. The binding of the book is very bad. It is looking like they have selled me a book which is not good enough to read. The quality of book is worst. Unfortunately I have started to read the book after 1 month and I have no choice to return the book back.

Damaged book

The textbook is an easy read while covering in a certain depth such a famously difficult subject. The theoretical explanations are short and to the point and the mathematical concepts are explained perfectly well, without taking the reader's focus away from the physical interpretation. The exercises are quite challenging but solving them supplements the understanding in a beautiful way and gives a good feeling of satisfaction of one's progress. Highly recommend it!

Some dry humor inside. Just brush up on how to read different mathematical notations and you are probably good to go. Remember to note down what each variable represents to prevent symbol/information overloads in case you forget. Becomes very useful when you progress further into the book.
