Historical Archaeology: Why the Past Matters 1st Edition

If you're a history or anthropology student (or even if you just have an interest in the field) you should give this book a read. It's relatively short but an easy read packed with critical information for history and anthropology students. I find that it does a very accurate job explaining anthropology; while what we do isn't Indiana Jones, it is meaningful and satisfying. If you're interested in the field, it's definitely worth having in your library.

A good introduction to the discipline that is divided into many short chapters, which students seem to like these days.
