I recently tried several of the brands that are well known for their silk pillowcases trying to figure out which one I thought was the best. The 27mm Tafts queen pillow case with the zipper enclosure is hands down the best in my book. Not only is it the softest on my skin, it is the most cooling and its a great value. You could buy a few of these for the price of one of the other brands. Thanks Tafts!

There are soooo many fake "silk" pillow cases on Amazon, made from cheap polyester. This brand is the real deal. I have bought silk pillow cases from a high end silk specialty shop and these are just as good. You can tell after first wash if they're genuine silk as it has a rough almost scratchy texture when wet, but once dry, they're soft and silky. Remove from dryer while warm to avoid wrinkles. Also, the shine will fade after a lot of washing, again a sign they're not polyester. FYI, I do NOT treat mine gently. I throw in wash with our bamboo sheets and use hot, hot water. They last about a year with my abusive treatment LOL. Eventually, silk will degrade from washing and i did have two where the zippers separated (finally) but it was after a LOT of use and washings so it's expected. I just bought two more.

I love Tafts! I've tried a couple other high end brands, but I absolutely love my tafts pillowcases. I have curly hair, so silk pillowcases are essential for my hair not to get tangled & matted at night. I have a 2 sets for my king size bed at home, and then a standard size for when I travel. I cannot do without!

I purchased these and the are great the zipper is sturdy they are soft and smooth and after about 4 day I noticed my hair a LOT less frizzy

I can’t emphasize the title enough! When you wash it correctly, the pillowcases last for awhile. I do wash mine in the machine on a delicate cycle, with the pillowcase flipped inside out and put inside either a mesh laundry bag, or a pillowcase. Be careful using the pillow case method, as the color of the pillow case ended up changing the color of my silk one, but that is completely my fault for not washing it with a like color (although the new color is very cute so I don’t mind).My skin has been very clear since changing pillowcases, and I tend to lose alot of hair in my sleep but that problem has also been resolved since switching to my silk pillow case!It is real silk, I used to have a satin one and you can definitely feel the difference.My only con is that I had no idea you aren’t supposed to cry on your silk pillowcases, because sometimes your tears WILL stain them! I wish they put a little disclaimer but again, MOST TIMES it will come out in the wash. Unless you’re having mental breakdowns hourly you should be fine.I would definitely buy another and recommend it to people (which I have done both haha)!

This real silk pillowcase didn't loose color ( burgundy), easy on, feels like heaven.

Whether you have thick, wild hair like my daughter or sparse fine hair like myself, these slips make the hair look better and they are softer to sleep on. Also perfectly safe in the washer.

Está suave, pero no es nada extraordinario. La compré para cuidar mi piel sensible y mis rizos, Pero no he notado ninguna diferencia. De plano nada extraordinario. Se siente bien al tacto, pero no súper suave. De hecho, incluso se siente algo áspero si le pasas la mano muy rápido. No me parece que valga la pena el precio.

Wrinkles after washing and drying. Texture is soft on face and is better for hair. Good zipper enclosure. Would recommend.
