(They sent me another cord. Please read whole review)VERY Disappointed. I take my reviews VERY seriously. Thought paying more money I would have a higher quality cord. The 1/4" metal head dislocated or bent from base. Have to use tape for it to work. Why don't I send it back you ask? Well by the time I pay for shipping, the time it takes to box take to shipper ect ect I chose to just say I learned a lesson. Look I love Sweetwater and my rep however this is a product quality issue. Had I realized it prior to the need to upgrade my board I would have shipped them together. Buyer Beware!!I will say this, if the manufacture ships me a new one with a return paid label I would be more than happy to change my thoughts........Well it took since February but they did send me another cord and it works fine. 5/6/2016

I received a discounted price on this product in exchange for my honest review.I bought this cable for my brother who loves to play guitar. When I gave it to him he was very happy and excited to try it as soon as possible. It was love at first sight, he loved the material and how thick the cable was and the braided cover was the best. It worked fine for a few weeks. The only thing why I do not give 5 stars is because after 2 or 3 weeks tge connecter just fell. I dont know if this one was defective or if all the cables are the same. But in my case my brother was very dissapointed that happenned.

Again too early to determine, longevity, dependability and sound,, Ask me to review in 3 months,, I can give you a better review. As of now it is good,,,,,Great comes with trial and error.

AMP CORD WORKED FINE FOR THE FIRST 25 USES...THEN THE GOLD TIP, WHICH IS POORLY ATTACHED, BROKE OFF INSIDE MY BASS GUITAR...OUT THE $25.00 SPENT ON THIS CABLE, PLUS $40.00 TO REMOVE THE PIECES OF THIS FAULTY CORD FROM MY BASS GUITAR....GO TO YOUR LOCAL MUSIC STORE AND PURCHASE A CABLE THAT WILL BE BACKED BY THE STORE... NOT A CRUMMY AMAZON GUARANTEE THAT ENDS TOO SOON.... This cable is amazing! I do not have any hiss or background noise from my amplifier at all as I did with the cable that came with my amplifier. I would highly recommend.

These cables tips will break off in your equipment -and destroy the input 1/4 inch female youll end up having to replace the socket especially if its soldered to a board one broke off in one of my fender amps and one broke off in a expencive AB box I had I pulled all these cables out of my equipment and cut the heads off -these cables are absolute pieces of S*** and potentially the most destructive -to your equipment the cable seems good -now Ive got to replace all the heads with old school 1/4 inches if you own these cables I highly recommend you do what I did

This guitar/bass guitar cable was exceedingly great! It lets my bass sound good! People thought it was a real expensive cable! You can't beat the price OR the quality of sound it delivers!

Ordered two, one arrived dated but was able to easily to return to Amazon. The one that works sounds great !
