And how accurate are the results?** A: If your caravan is made of drywall, masonry, hardwood, and softwood it can detect it results are reliable when used correctly **Q: Using in caravan on softwood goes off scale areas wall solid and no sign damp. Is meter working ok ?** A: Trust your instruments (as I was always taught when flying)! **Q: Can it detect moisture in the room?** A: It detects damp in masonry, drywall and wood when placed against the surface. It won't detect moisture in a room. You need a hygrometer to record the humidity/dampness in a room. **Q: I have some faint yellow patches on ceiling but not sure if leak or condensation. Will this work on walls and ceilings and floors? Is it accurate?** A: We have found it very accurate - works on all walls and floors. We haven't tried it on the ceiling but I don't see why not.
