"shedding"
This particular color "sheds" itself when you wash it. I WAS so impressed with the plushness when I first go it but now it is not nearly as plush because too much of the material ended up being left in the washing machine. There was little clumps all over the inside of the washing machine. Each time I wash it more of the material is found in the bottom of the washer and in the lint filter of the dryer............A LOT!!! It makes me wonder how much of it will be left after a year. This was NOT the case with the peony color towel bath mat from the same company.
