These are THE BEST. We've purchased EVERY type of gas can on ...
Finally, a gas can user invented a gas can! These are THE BEST. We've purchased EVERY type of gas can on the market. All those ridiculous new 'spill proof' gas cans that require a collar be pulled back in order to dispense are absurd. We run multiple generators all day every day to support our business, which requires at least 1 refill a day. Trying to fill the genny's without spilling on yourself with the 'spill proof' cans requires 2 people. We lose so much gas to those poorly designed gas cans - not to mention, the generators were always covered in gas, in addition to our gloves or hands. We bought these and it was GAME OVER! We instantly threw out all of our newer 'spill proof' gas cans & then purchased 6 more of these gas cans. They're ingenious. Seriously, why wouldn't you put the dispenser at the bottom of the can? These have made filling a generator or small engines a breeze. They don't leak, they're sturdy, they actually work & they're easily manageable by my wife.I definitely recommend these to everyone. It's nice not smelling like gas in front of our clients anymore, or having a newbie try to use the 'spill proof' gas cans & spill a gallon of gas from a 5 gallon can. These probably wouldn't be the best for filling a car or truck that has run out of gas, because you'd have to be tall or figure out how to get the bottom of the can above the vehicle gas cap. For that purpose, we keep regular old-school gas cans that you tip & dispense (definitely not the 'spill proof' collared gas cans). However, if you're doing anything other than filling a car, this is the can you want. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

Well built
This thing is well built- thick walls, quality throughout. I like the pouring mechanism too- no need to lift the heavy can up high to pour.

Nice can, too expensive, works great!
Really wanted to give this can 5 stars but it carries common flaws similar to most of their type. This is only of my two favorite designs for today's fuel dispensers. I have a red one just like it for gasoline. Still love it overall. Would buy another by now if not so expensive in general.Pros:- Don't need a funnel! This is one of its best features. The plastic hose on the back bends away and then swings completely down into fuel tank perfectly.- The squeeze-release mechanism on the top is actually easy to operate. Not perfect but works pretty well.- Easy to balance and support while dispensing.- Easy to get the last few ounces out without overflowing due to angle of up-side-downing those lesser type designs.Cons:- The cap on the dispensing tube has a cute retaining strap to keep it from being lost. This strap (plastic) also keeps you from unscrewing the cap so easily. You will need to work at it in most cases.- When you buy new, they usually have the dispensing lever zip-tied in the open (dispense) position. When you cut the tie, you will need to ensure it goes all the way up the 1st time or fuel will seep out of the top around the lever. This tiny opening is by design I presume because without airflow, you would not be getting much out of any can.- The primary cap has that stupid safety band sticking out. While one should not cut it off, I did. It was nearly impossible to bend it down far enough to open the cap for re-filling. I am not weak by any means but it should never be that difficult to open. As with most child-prevention features, its more of an adult-preventer and a child-challenge to defeat. Should just remove the dumb thing (IMO).- Costs entirely too much simply for a different design of plastic (ridiculously expensive, actually). But you pay for it or do without, right?

Love this can!
I have had this for over a year now and love the ease of use for filling my kerosene heaters. No leaking, stops pouring when I want it to and love the upright spout storage feature, no drips around the screw-on stopper! I use this for filling a smaller one (same design, same loves!) that is easier for me to carry. Great product!
