My husband has wanted a set of meat claws for a while. He does a lot of cooking at home and at work, and a favorite dish is pulled pork. It's time consuming to shred meat with regular forks, so I purchased these claws in hopes of making that task a little easier. The claws are made of a heavy duty plastic, and comfortable to grasp. In anticipation of the meat claws arriving, I purchased a bone in pork shoulder to try it out. My husband loved it! I couldn't believe how quickly it cut through the meat! We did end up getting some meat caught under the claws ( they aren't solid plastic on the inside), but it was easy to remove. I bought these for our kitchen. We slow cook a lot of different meats to shred up and using tongs to get giant hunk of meat out of the crock pot isn't that easy. They're awesome, pull out the meat and use the same utensils to shred it! I don't care for the fat that they're plastic but they've held up for sure.I would recommend these to anyone who makes lots of slow cooked meat.I received this item at a discount in exchange for a fair and honest review.
