Lifesaving bells
This bell from Warner Sporting possibly saved my dog's life. I recently adopted a small senior beagle that a hunter had retired. Although my property is fenced and she's never outside alone, I bought this bell because she tends to go straight for the brush at the end of our yard and not yet familiar with me, she doesn't come when called. Well somehow that little stinker got out of the fence and got stuck inside the fence of the commercial property adjacent to ours. For hours we tried to get her to come back, couldn't see her but could tell where she was with the bell. We finally had to climb the fence to get her back but I can imagine, if not for this, no one might've been able to find her, and at her age, she might not have found her way out alone. These bells are a lifesaver!!!For reference, I ordered the small- she is about the size of a miniature dachshund.

Keep track of your pup with ease
Shipping: Shiped out quickly, and was packaged well. Packaging didnt stop the ringing, and my mom didnt know what it was, she though something had broken.Quality: It is fantastic! The package came with 3 bells, and just 1 is loud enough to hear from a great distance. The nylon strap is riveted on, rather then snap on buttons, but that's no big deal to me. I take my pit bull out to the mesa for a run and I can hear him everywhere he goes, whether I can see him or not. I gave the 3rd bell to my friend, who also takes her chihuahua out to the mesa, if she puts her head low enough, the bell drags on the ground, but there has been no damage to it whatsoever. Is it worth it?: Absolutely! I've tried other bells and either they are not loud enough or they just fall right off the collar. These are perfect for my needs, being loud enough and durable for my high energy dog. I recommend buying these bells if you need to keep track of your pup. A good price for a good quality product.

Big noise for such a small bell
This little cowbell sounds much more deep and noisier than the five inch brass cowbell I purchased on Amazon. In fact, this little sucker sounds like a big alpine bell. I put it on my miniature schnauzer, who is only 15 pounds, and it fits perfectly. He romps all over the house and backyard sounding like Bessie of the Swiss Alps, and he seems to enjoy making so much noise. It doesn't seem to bother him in the least, but sure pisses off the missus, who calls it a doggy inspired irritant. So to keep the peace, when Mommy is around, I have to remove the bell from the wardrobe, but when Mommy is aware, the cowbell will play.

Works very well
This bell is small so it does not interfere with the dog running and is relatively loud. We go out to the river and mountains and always put this bell on our curios dog. We can follow her by ear and know where she is around the camp site without watching her all the time. We own two of these bells now. Please note the size description of the loop is accurate and when you measure your dogs collar make sure you measure the widest part of the collar which is often the latch.

Very small bell - great for training small dogs.
I ordered this to train my papillon service dog to signal his need to go outside to do his business. I am using it in conjunction with bells attached to the doors. This bell is well made and has a sturdy strap just the right size for him to pick up off the nightstand. He picks it up, and brings it to me, and it makes a clear ringing sound without him needing to move his head, just his body movement is enough. It is compact enough to take with us when we go visiting. The strap has a loop, so that it could be attached to a door with a string. I have also attached it with a carabinger to my purse for when we are at work. He will nudge it with his nose, even though he can't remove it from my purse. That is enough to make a sound so that I know he needs to go out.I would recommend this for anyone training a small dog, but a large dog may have trouble with its small size.

Perfect bell for my hunting needs...great size and sound
I use this pheasant hunting with my brittany...perfect. Doesn't get stuck so I always here the bell, even in the snow. Loud enough without being obnoxious to other hunting friends. Also great size as it isn't heavy on the dog's collar. I'm very pleased and so glad I chose this bell!

I love this bell so much
I have a twenty eight pound beagle/basset/corgi/pug mix that hikes through the woods with me frequently. She never gets too far out of sight, but this bell helps me to keep tabs as to where she is as some of the woods can be fairly thick. It also helps to give wildlife a heads up that we are coming, and this spring we saw a black bear sow and her cubs retreating up the hill after they heard her bell. I love this bell so much, that when we misplaced the first one I bought two more as backup! Nice clear sound that is loud enough for it's smaller size and is easy to slip onto her collar before we head out.

Works fine after modifying it
The loop wasn't large enough to fit around the collar she uses, so I cut it off and attached it with a key ring. It's LOUD compared to an identical one she had that died after 8 years. We use it to know where she is and to avoid stepping on her as she slips up behind us and lays down. Way too trusting. I lined the inside with electrical tape to dull the sound and it works fine now. It's really a field bell and not designed for what I use it for. However, the bell itself is identical to the one she used for so long that had a tiny "ding" sound that she loved. She likes it when I put that collar on as it's been her "signature" for some time. It would make a great bell to hang from a door for her to "ring" when needing to go out. I have another kind of bell for that already.
