Wish it was more in depth
Awesome short book. Kubrick was something else. Interested in what he was trying to say in his movies. Got a small glimpse from this book.

A fun read if your a Stanley Kubrick fan

Definitive work on Kubrick’s use of symbolism
Kubrick encodes so many different things into his films it can be overwhelming trying to sort it all out. Thankfully Isaac has done the work for us. For subject matter that can get “all over the place” in a hurry, Isaac does such a great job of making this a comprehensive, easy to follow, all around thesis statement on all things Kubrick. Included is several visual aides to support the research. This is just an amazing book, and the author has an eye for detail that serves him well; the symbolism just doesn’t get past him. Highly recommended.
