Goo GoneHand Cleaner - 18 Ounce - Degreaser No Water Needed Rinse, Perfect for Mechanics and Working in the Garage, Natural Pumice Plus Aloe

Been using this brand for years. Tonight I tried poly gel for the first time tonight, and I made a huge mess and got tacky residue all over my hands. It was difficult to remove, but thank goodness for this stuff! It has some kind of gritty exfoliating stuff in it like sand, so it can literally sand away things like super glue and and grease. It also smells really good, kinda like orange sherbert.

The product was loose inside of a plastic envelope/bag and the top of the bottle was not taped - so the Goo Gone liquid was leaking out of the bottle into that bag - and then that plastic envelope/bag also leaked onto the paper Amazon package/bag - not a good experience. I'm actually surprised that the driver dropped it off in that condition and also surprised that the bottle was just rattling around in the shipping bag in the first place.And - it squirts really violently out of the bottle - uncontrollable - like under pressure or something - no matter how carefully and gently you try to squeeze the bottle.It's so difficult and unpleasant to use that I wouldn't purchase it again - which is unfortunate because the product itself seems to work really well to remove grease (from car wheels and bike chains) from hands. Hands don't feel dry afterward and it smells nice too.Maybe I'll take the existing top off of the bottle and put some of it into a smaller spray bottle that'd be easier to control. Be aware if you purchase this - it might work out really well for you if you know the drawbacks in advance.

Received this in a package that got wet and was put in another envelope. Product had water in the bottle and it is unusable.

My husband came in from the garage all excited, smiling, almost giggling. Not normal behavior, so I wondered what was up.....What's up was this Goo Gone Hand Cleaner. I had left it on his work bench for him to find and to try.Obviously he was real happy with it. And he was excited to share his exuberance: Better than any water-less hand cleaner he'd used before. Did a great job cleaning. Worked almost effortlessly. Pleasant--not overpowering--smell.And since it worked so well on his hands, he tried it on his truck seat, where the day before, print from a plastic bag transferred to the seat and would not come off. Worked quickly and perfectly.When I ordered this, I wondered if it would smell like the original Goo Gone product. Wow! That smell is powerful! But, it does not smell like that at all. Within a few minutes, the fragrance had totally dissipated.

I've used Goo Gone products for years to get sticky stuff off of household items or price tags off of things I brought home. I have a classic car I dabble with and get my hands greasy, regular Dawn soap does ok but there are times I need a bit more to get into the smaller bits of my hands like nail beds and cuticles. This stuff rocks! I can't say much different than the several other people have so far. A little goes a long way. It has a non-offensive very light citrus smell similar to other products but less so. The light scrubbing grit feels really nice (I just sat there rubbing it into my hands for several minutes even after they were clean because it really does feel good and exfoliated well- bonus!) and doesn't leave behind an unpleasant residue after I wiped my hands with a shop towel. Didn't leave my hands feeling dry either. It works for grease, took the smell of gasoline out, even tried it on garlic smell on my hands (just out of curiosity). Highly recommended!

We had something like this when I took auto servicing classes just after high school in our technical school. I washed my hands after using the goop and before leaving class. This arrived already smelling great because there was oozing from it as I took it out. I wiped my hands all over the container and inside the bag and did a dry-wash with it and then just left the stuff on my hands. The grit did eventually wear off and I did not even need to use a paper towel to wipe the last of the grit off. I think I will keep this bottle in the car with a roll of paper towels and keep the other degreaser under the sink. I agree, I prefer to wash my hands afterwards, but it does works exactly as stated.

the cleaner comes out very fast. it took over 2 weeks to receive package. the cleaner leaked in the package. I'll get a pump cleaner next time

Hand cleanser works fantastic. After working on my MTB one small squirt of this stuff does the trick to clean up.

It’s basically just regular soap with sand in it. Doesn’t work well on hands covered in car grease.
