HighSpeed PC Top Deck Tech Station, HPTX, Black

I bought this Tech Station because several "get started mining" blog posts link to it.here's my thoughts on it1. the fans that it comes with are weak, very weak. i dont know the *rating* or airspeed but its not much if you put your hand in front of it2. the white plastic bar where you attach the graphics cards is kinda flimsy3. i had issues getting one of the posts that hold the white plastic bar to screw in properly and get tightened.if you are building an open air "regular" PC then this probably ok, the setup is not useful for building any sort of mining rig because there is no way to attach the additional cards if you use the 1x to 16x risers to a mother board. if the mother board was all 16x they it would attach ok. I ended up replacing the brackets it comes with with 2 1/2 inch L brackets in order to raise up the graphics card holder to a height i could use with the 1x to 16x risers. i then created something for the back of the GPUs to rest on.If i had to do it again, i would not purchase this product, i'd purchase one of the open air mining rigs for approx 90 bucks. search for "open air mining case" and you should be able to find a few options.

This is a little pricey, but it is very nice not to have my parts dangling all over the place.I had a unit built on this at a local PC shop and for whatever reason I can't seem to get my other ones running.Not due to the case obviously but the case makes it look nice too.

not a real great piece of equipment, but will do if it's all you have!
