This brush does work and it seems pretty well made; however, my dog really hates it. (She is a large husky/german shepherd mix) The bristles pull on her and she sees brushing as a punishment. It does pull off a lot of excess hair. She still sheds like crazy so I sometimes suspect the brushing may stimulate hair growth. The price was reasonable and the brush (despite rough treatment), has held up well.The brush does temporarily reduce loose dog hair. Sensitive skinned dogs will hate it. See if you can borrow one first and try it on your dog before buying it.

Understatement: There is no shortage of hair here. I don't know what percentage of our dog's hair falls off on walks outside, but I could fill a Queen size bed pillow every month with the hair that's vacuumed indoors. These shedding brushes seem to work well, they catch a lot of hair, but my dog does not tolerate/enjoy the brushing long enough per day/week to really make a difference in hair vacuuming. I still use them just to see if the bushy or extra thick areas of hair are just 'dead' hair tangled patches. Sometimes they are.

It works but the curve makes the two tips really sharp. they hurt the dog! so always buy the straight ones!Other than that, the quality is pretty good

I've spent a small fortune on ultimately useless grooming tools! I did not have high hopes for this one, but boy was I wrong! This thing works a treat! Easy to clean out, does not pull on the skin or frighten the dogs in any way. In fact my previously skittish heavy-coated terrier/chow cross rolled over on her back so I could groom her belly. My other dog, who had a bad case of mange when rescued and was touchy about being brushed, loves this thing. It gets out all the dead hair effortlessly. I have been recommending this to other dog lovers. The only thing we found like this brush was almost $80 at the pet stores and only slightly cheaper online.

The Fur DeShedding Brush works beautifully. It removes masses of loose hair, and it's easy to clean. You just push a button to push the loose hair off the teeth of the comb. Our cat (who is 12 years old) was reluctant at first to let us use it on her, but she now lets us comb her with it.Incidentally, the Fur DeShedding Brush is not a brush. Its "blade" is a fine-toothed metal comb that gently curves to conform to the shape of a rounded body. There is no cutting--or sharp edge--involved.

I must admit I was disappointed in this de-shedding brush. I purchased it mostly for my Labrador but it will hardly get any hair off of her. It does work OK on my long haired cat though. If you have an animal that does not have really thick and long fur this might work alright. But for my needs not so much. I gave it to my niece to use on her cats which mostly have short hair. I would not waste my money of this again. I will be buying a Furminator instead they are great and work very well on my dog. WASTE OF MONEY IN MY OPINION.

This comb is awesome! I have a German Shepherd and have always used a slicker brush but when I used this on him it was like a whole new dog! I even tested it out by brushing him how I normally would with his old brush and then using this one on him. It's crazy to think how much hair I've been missing. It is easy to clean with the button although it has stuck slightly a time or two. Overall though, it has definitely been worth it and my dog loves it!

I love this product! We have a Bernese Mountain Dog. They are huge with tons of beautiful hair. This is a great way to keep the shedding to a minimum! We were concerned if it would do the trick since he has so much hair, but it works perfectly! One feature I must mention is the button that releases the hair from the comb. I love it! I don't spend so much time trying to pull the hair loose from the comb!
