Mild roast - amazing coffee drinking experience!
This coffee is super fresh, the roast and grind dates are both listed on the package. I use a heavy 150ml ibrik/cezve from STC and a small butane burner at moderately high heat for a brewing time of between 1:30 and 2:30. I use 8 grams of coffee with 72 grams of room temperature water. Adding the coffee to the water *or* dumping the coffee on top of the water results in subtle differences, but in either case I do not stir. The grounds disperse well enough without stirring. The resulting coffee with this mild roast is absolutely delicious and unlike any other type of coffee brew. It has a flavor and mouthfeel very similar to drinking hot chocolate with a little marshmallow dissolved into it. Creamy, with clear cocoa flavor and both cane sugar and lactose sweetness and flavor. The roast tones are extremely subtle and provide just a touch of acid overtones. The coffee is drinkable deeper into the sludge than any other Turkish coffee I've brewed before the grounds become unpalatable. They sell whole beans directly from their website if you prefer to grind your own, but this comes so fresh the benefit is not as great as it might be with coffee from other vendors. The difference between this mild roast and the medium roast is quite noticeable with the medium roast offering a more recognizably "coffee" flavor, primarily due to the increased roast flavor. It shares many of the virtues of the milder roast and is definitely worth trying, too. I'm so happy I found this!

Just wow!!!
Wow, the effect. I ordered this coffee for the first time and now it's my favorite! It came in two packages fragrant freshly ground with the dates of grinding and use. Such a pleasure, you can feel the freshness. The color, consistency and taste are beyond praise. Amazing!!!

Great tasting coffee. Better than some turkish brands.

Tasty and freshly ground, but slow shipping
Shipping can be an issue (once it was two weeks late arriving) but it is tasty and freshly roasted and ground. Hard to get fresh Turkish ground coffee anywhere, so this is a good deal…just order a little ahead of when you will need it, to deal with potential shipping delays.

Best. Coffee. Ever. (Just get it.)
My raving:I don't review coffee. Ever. I never have a strong enough opinion to do so. This coffee is outstanding. I can't remember the last time I had a cup this good. I've bought cheap coffee and coffee at $24 per lb. This beats everything. I don't own the proper equipment to make it traditionally, but I used my stove top espresso maker. I don't see this working in any type of electrical brewer. My husband and I swooned. I'm not even being dramatic. It was one of those commercial moments where we both took a sip and froze looking at each other. The product:Upon first impression, the bag is obviously a nice quality. The material is heavy and you can tell immediately the air has been thoroughly vacuumed out. Be careful tearing the top open, it has a notch to just tear across which is nice. My bag had grounds padded up against the seam. I immediately pinched the bag open and the grounds kindly relocated themselves to the bottom of the bag and nothing was lost. The grounds themselves are ideal. A very fine grind reminiscent of the texture of cocoa powder or cake flour. The color is a gorgeous chocolatey brown with rich red undertones. If a brown could be a jewel tone, that's how I would describe it. He smell is pure perfection with no burned tones. Once brewed the flavor is smooth and completely lacking bitter qualities typically associated with coffee, especially rich cups. The appearance of the liquid is a lighter tone of the grounds, foggy or smokey depending on what you find more appealing in description. I'm usually one to add sugar and milk or cream to my coffee and I happily drank this black. I haven't regularly drank black coffee in almost 3 years.Overall:This was a delightful surprise of an impulse purchase and I will definitely be buying regularly now. My only genuine critique is the bag. The opening is fairly well thought out with the tear away and nice zipper, but because of the size it doesn't open in such a way to comfortably scoop. The flat bottom of the bag is lovely however. It may feel like it's expensive, but it's worth it.

Its Pretty good
It took awhile for the product to arrive which usually is not a big deal for me, but for a $7 bag of coffee I would have liked it to arrive sooner so I can experience it as fresh as I can. However, I will cut them some slack because I did order it during the holiday season so I am sure it will probably arrive sooner at any other time of the year. As far as quality goes it has a great sent and a pretty good flavor. The grounds are very fine so it is great for any average coffee maker, however I would stray away from trying to use a french press for that reason. Overall it is a good cup of joe. A little expensive for my liking but not bad.
