Nice looking sheath, looks like the one from XIX century. Is it very functional? Not so much, but I specifically bought it for my H&B tomahawk to look nice. Thought initially that a snap on the cover will be better, but laces allow some flexibility if the fitting is not perfect. Regarding fitting: the opening for handle was left too tight, so while there is some flexibility in the cover, there is no such in the handle. Would the furthest from the blade copper rivet be half inch closer to the blade, it will fit many more axes and hawks perfectly. It's easy to re-rivet, but it's hard to find those old style copper rivets unless you make your own

High quality tomahawk sheath. Suitable for wear for sport or if an evil British Col kills your son, captures another and locks and burns a bunch of innocents in a church. This sheath will keep your trusty hawk right where you need it! FREEEEDOM!!! Oh wait...wrong movie. Anyway, its a good sheath. ~JTC~

If you're not satisfied with the nylon blade sheath that comes with the Cold Steel Frontier Hawk, this is exactly what you need. I like the rawhide lacing, which is the original way the 'hawk carrier was secured.

This is a good sheath. It looks cool and it does its job. Very old-timey and functional, and it didn't break the bank.

Poor design and fit.
