Mighty Putty 80-14190 3 Tubes Bonding Epoxy Fix Fill Seal Repair

I used this to repair a garden statue and I found it easy to roll and place on the statue. I did need to sand the area after it had fully dried, and it dried to a white color with a smidge of green tinge. I painted the statue and then you could not tell that it was ever repaired.

Found the product to be too dried out so that when tried to manipulate it into workable mass, it crumbled ...

It has done a great job on a concrete statue that the head had broken off. But it would not hold a hose reel to a brick wall or stop a small leak in a basement wall. Oh, it smells really bad when kneading/mixing the compounds together.

This is not a review of Mighty Putty in general, it's review of the Mighty Putty that I purchased from Transaction Holdings Retail, an Amazon Marketplace vendor. The green layer of my Mighty Putty had become hard and crusty while still in its original packaging. This made it very difficult or impossible to properly mix the green and white compounds. Thus, the Mighty Putty did not function as originally intended. Although there is no "expiration date" or "use by date" printed on the packaging, this product, like most products, has a limited shelf life. It seems as if I was sold "expired" Mighty Putty.If you need Mighty Putty immediately and don't have time to deal with an expired product, then I caution you against buying from this particular seller. However, if you are a price sensitive customer and you have the time make a return, then maybe you should take a chance and buy from this seller. I'm actually planning to return this product. This will be the first time I have ever returned anything that I purchased through Amazon. Although I would prefer not to spend the time necessary to return a $7.97 product, I think that it's important that the Marketplace vendors are held to Amazon's high standards.Despite this bad experience, I would consider trying Mighty Putty again. I bought this product after a glass ring I bought in Italy broke into several pieces. I tried super glue, gorilla glue and several other products in an attempt to fix the ring, but none of them worked. Mighty putty did the trick, and I am now able to wear my ring! A word of advice: make sure you get the right amount of the green and white portions of the mighty putty. I used a very small portion for my ring and did not get enough of the white. As a result it did not work the first time round. Cut off the amount they suggest and throw away what you do not use.

I swear this stuff can fix anything. The ceramic vase my daughter made me in high school recently broke around the rim into many little pieces. I bought mighty putty and used it to put it back together. It works like any putty, I was able to smooth it with my fingers to seamlessly mend the pieces back together and then I just used a high gloss paint in the same color as the vase and now you cannot even tell it was ever broke!

Not what I expected, in the commercial, they show how easy it is to work a small piece and it dry fast and hard, the one I got is so hard. i don't know if have to microwave it first,before i can work on it, frustrating.

This is a great product. Just cut the amount needed and roll like puddy in your hands. This product hardends like concrete. A lot of epoxies sold in hardware stores not only require mixing of two liquids but they dry either as a rubber (stretches) or a plastic (brittle easy to break) bond. It's important when using this product to create a "band" around the two objects being held together or mended. This product is not "sticky" like rubber cement. The bond is created by making a physical shape around the pieces to hold them together.
