These filters are the fantastic! No more buying paper filters and no more waste - they truly work just like paper filters! All of those permanent filters I have tried - and I've tried a lot of them - all leave a very fine sludge on the bottom of the cup, carafe, or pitcher. These do not - there is no sludge and there are no coffee grounds whatsoever! Yes, mine are coffee stained, but that doesn't detract from them at all! I use the basket ones for my winter coffee pot, and the long tall slim ones for my cold-brew coffee pot.

Love this- so much less waste (we can’t compost in our place) and flavor is better than paper!It took about two weeks for the moaning about making coffee with the Coffee Socks to stop.

These work great, work as advertised and I love that they seem reusable. They are annoying to clean off. I shake the wet grounds into the trash and then rinse into the sink; however, lots of grounds are left after dumping in trash, which stops up my drain every time. I mean, oh well, really. The coffee sock serves it’s purpose well as a coffee filter, so it gets 5 stars. I use it in a 10-cup bunn coffee maker, and like my coffee strong, so lots of grounds. It seals well, and never have I had grounds in my coffee since using it. It “overflows” in the sense of the filter is “sealed” to the sides and coffee grounds go up over, bit like I said, never had a problem with grounds in my coffee.

****Five months in and still loving this filter!***Update: Still loving this filter after a week of use!***I am drinking my first cup of coffee brewed using the CoffeeSock reusable filter and it's fabulous! No grounds in the bottom of my mug. The coffee tastes like coffee should. And perhaps most importantly I won't be adding yet another paper filter to my garbage. It requires a ten minute soak in boiling water before first use, but it's no biggie for the benefits. Fantastic product!

Bought this to cut down waste and having to buy disposable coffee filters. Works great and we haven't noticed any changes in flavor. Having two is nice in case you forget to empty the filter out that day you have another one for backup. Instructions say to boil between regular rinses since coffee contains oils that can block the filter. Definitely recommend. A bit more effort than disposable but not hard.

One to use, one to wash, perfect if you're hoping to minimize garbage and/or want less paper flavor in your coffee. I recommend getting it damp before you put it in the coffeemaker so that it clings nicely to the sides and doesn't fold during brewing. Very low maintenance, I dump the grinds into the compost, then rinse the filter and put it on my dish rack to dry. I've never felt the need to run them through the wash and I don't recommend that anyway, because some laundry soaps leave residue.

The material is very thick, and I think it soaks up all the flavor from the coffee. I guess I can’t return them since I used them, but I won’t be using them again.

I bought the Coffee Sock to climate waste and I couldn't be happier! The box come with two for easy rotation. They are easy to clean and my coffee does indeed taste better, more flavorful. I highly recommend! I purchased a flat bottomed sock for my coffeemaker, not the french press.

I wasn’t sure what to think of these at first. I had a feeling they’d be a hassle, but wanted to give it a try. I’m glad I did. I didn’t notice a taste difference and they wash really well in my dishwasher. I place it open face down and put a bowl over to keep it from flying up during the wash. They come out perfect. I give them a quick scrub with a veg brush in between washings. Very handy that two come packaged together, so you can have a clean one ready. Quality seems pretty good. They look like they’ll last a long time.

This is great! Just rinse and reuse. I couldn’t find the paper ones here in the UK and found these. Better coffee and better for the planet!

I love these coffee filters. I've had them for 8 months now and they are perfect.

I bought these as part of an effort to reduce household waste, but they also make our coffee taste better. There isn’t an oil slick floating on the top of my cup, and you can taste more of the nuanced flavors. Very easy to clean.
