This folding (disappearing) staircase is a great conversation piece. This unfinished staircase accommodates ceiling heights up to 10" (25.4cm) and has a 3/8" inset (0.9525cm). Can be adapted up to 1" (2.54cm). To use, cut rough opening 2-3/8"W x 5-5/16"L (6.0325cm W x 12.49375cm L). Place stairs in ceiling and hold with tape. Position stairs to floor. Trim bottom edge to suit. Tie off the two nylon ties together while stairs are in down position. Glue in place.
