ORIGINAL REVIEW: We've occasionally used these tongs for about a year. When I say occasional I mean about once per week at most. Today my husband was using them and the tip of the tongs literally fell off. Like, split in half and fell off without warning. No repair possible. Good gosh, come on. These were a replacement for our 15-year metal tongs that worked like the energizer bunny. One year? I'll never buy these again.**UPDATE: 11-9-17. I was contacted by the company given my original review and reporting of broken tongs. Customer service was kind, understanding, and fast in shipping out a replacement set. It turns out that I had received a defective pair of tongs in my original order and according to customer service, Amazon was supposed to contact and send out replacement tongs to purchasers. I had not gotten any. The company sent my replacement immediately. I was delighted to receive two pairs of tongs instead of the one pair I had originally purchased about a year ago. There were a few differences in the new tongs vs my old ones. 1). The metal seems much stronger and tongs seem more sturdy. 2). There are "legs" on these tongs that allow you to set the tongs on the table without the tips touching the counter. These tongs store easily - push the O-ring in and they open fully. Pull the O-ring in and they fold and stay folded so you can put them in a drawer easily. I plan to use the larger ones for our grill and the smaller ones in our kitchen. I like that you can hang them easily with the O-ring on the end. I used these to cook homemade chicken tenders the day I received them. They worked flawlessly, did not change or melt in the hot oil, and cleaned up quickly. They are dishwasher safe and clean well on the top rack.These have a lifetime warranty and I can speak from experience that the company will follow through with their promises. What have you got to lose? They are a great deal and excellent quality. I would definitely buy more from this reputable company.

This set is wonderful! I just received the tongs set, but they've already been used a few times and are a favorite in the kitchen. The silicone tips are perfect for use in both coated/non-stick and uncoated pans. The best feature on these tongs is the drip stand. Not only does the drip stand function to keep the tongs rested off of a countertop surface, but they also provide a tab and act as a catch to help prop up the tongs on the edge of a pan. They are sturdy and worked for tossing a salad, and turning 16oz steaks and slices of bacon. I hand wash my dishes, so I have not tested them in a dishwasher, but they clean easily. Great product.

These tongs exceeded my expectations. I received them today, and used them to handle chicken in a nonstick pan tonight. Exactly what I was looking for. The tongs are solidly built, and can grab food very well. The "kickstand" to keep the tips off the countertop while cooking are a very nice and effective touch. A big and smaller set of these tongs for less than $8 is a great deal. Highly recommended.

Love that they lock! And for that price you get a set of two that are far better than the more expensive ones!!

Very comfortable Tongs. I particularly like the fact that when my hands are full I don't need to have 2 hands just to open THESE tongs as is the case with others I've had. If you have a plate of goodies or a pan in one hand and the tongs in the other you merely need to push the heel (ring end) of the tong against yourself or any surface to open your tongs and they're ready to be used.Other tongs with the ring end heel, unfortunatly, operate just the opposite...I've had to put down whatever is in the hand without the tongs, pull the ring on the heel OUT to open the tongs (that takes two hands...which always annoyed me) then pick up what I need the tongs for all over again. Now this may seem like a picky thing (it is) but I use tongs A LOT and ease of use is important to me...I especially dislike needing 2 hands to do a 1 hand job...now if someone would just come up with a reasonably priced paper towel dispenser which doesn't require 2 hands I'll die a happy person!

Excellent tongs! They have a great little piece that allows them to sit on the counter without the end of the tongs touching the surface. They are dishwasher safe and work great!

These are great! I bought them on a whim and glad I did. They are light weight and handle easily. I love that they have little legs to keep them propped up and not touching the counter top! Also the lock feature is good for storing them. The best part is they do not stain!

I already reached out to the seller about receiving the incorrect tongs, they offered me a credit of some sort because I decided to keep them. The ones I received did not have the drip legs on the bottom as described & shown in this listing, they were also the wrong color. The silicon seems to be a good quality, but my boyfriend already bent one of the arms so they're probably not going to be durable long term.
