Review: Life Casting made easy - I have never done an art project of this sort before but I thought it would be a cool thing to do with my son. I watched the dvd that came with it which really helped. Also if you look up Smooth-On's website they have a bunch of other videos and demos for other products. I first made a test mold of my finger so I understood the process (recommended) and then made a mold of my sons hand. He thought it was really cool. It was enough alginate for the finger and the hand but that's about it. There was more than enough plaster. I would recommend this for anyone. Great product.

We used it to mold some sensitive areas... and we're able to make about 4. Two were kind of practices, but it does work well once you're used to it! **Q: Can this work for life saying your face?**
A: Yes, but you would need to purchase additional plaster bandages.  This kit does not come with plaster bandages.

**Q: I am wanting to make a mold of 3 people holding each other's wrists(triangle shape). Will I need 2 kits? Is it safe to use over jewelry?**
A: We would recommend two kits - you will also need plaster bandages.  It is probably more cost effective to by the alginate in the 3# box.  As for jewelry, some stones can bond, we recommend you test first.

**Q: is there a kit for the hand of two people?**
A: You may want to look into the Alja Safe in the 3# box.

**Q: Does the amount of alginate in the kit fit in the container it came with or is it more volume than the container if I mix it all with water?**
A: Yes it fit but depending on what you’re doing you may need more than one kit .
