I use it for roller derby. We skate on a banked track and due to my height, using my forearms is probably one of the safest ways to deal with our rail hits.A friend of mine used this on her forearms to prevent serious bruising so I decided to try it. I am so glad i did. This thing can stand SERIOUS impact without being a pain in the butt. It fits into place perfectly if put on before my wrist and elbow pads.
