GPO 746 Rotary Dial Telephone (Blue)

Haven’t used much but looks like what we wanted.

The media could not be loaded.  Se cercate un telefono anni 70 siete nel posto giusto. Non è il famoso bigrigio italiano, ricordo d'infanzia di molti, ma una copia, a parer mio ben riuscita, del suo omologo inglese. Arrivato direttamente dall'Inghilterra in una settimana circa. Esteticamente si presenta molto ben costruito e da l'idea di essere abbastanza robusto. Non leggerissimo, ma ovviamente non è un telefono da portare in giro per casa. Per qual poco che ho potuto usarlo l'audio sembra buono. Forse la suoneria un po bassa anche se messa al massimo. In confezione il cavo Rj11 che ho collegato direttamente alla presa fonia della fibra di Tim. Fino ad ora non ho osservato problemi di connessione. Ha inoltre un comodo switch per spegnerlo ed evitare di essere disturbati quando non si ha voglia di rispondere al telefono.

Bin hin und weg. Die Farbe ist wunderschön und entspricht genau dem Bild. Vernünftige schwere so dass man beim telefonieren nicht das komplette Gerät über den Tisch zieht. Die Verarbeitung ist ordentlich und funktioniert einwandfrei.Man hört den anderen klar und deutsch, selber wird man auch gut verstanden ohne weitere Hintergrundkulisse. Wählscheibe ist auch ordentlich verarbeitet.Die Lautstärke des Klingelns könnte etwas lauter sein, daher ein kleiner Abzug.Dennoch bin ich mehr als zu frieden und werde jetzt jeden Tag aufs neue in meine Kindheit versetzt, als ich noch bei Omi telefoniert habe :)

I was born in 1974 so I did deal with the real thing, the real deal.. rotary phones.You had to wait on them, you would dial a number then wait for the whole thing to return to the start position.I unpacked this and it looked like the real thing, a lot lighter.I dialed a test number.It spun back so fast... it was nothing like the originals it pretends to imitate.Really disappointed. It was part of the fun in dialing.. you would spin the rotary dial and wait for a couple of seconds for it to return...Why build a replica if you aren't going to do properly?Never got to actually testing call quality or even connecting, if they can't even do the rotary part which is the entire part of the phone correctly then I don't have faith in them doing anything else right. waste of $$. Buy a real antique phone and an adaptor.

I returned for a refund. This item was not quality made and did not work.
