An apology is in order.
I previously wrote a negative review on this product & yet the review doesn't appear here. Since writing said review the seller asked me to reconsider my remarks. Yes it is true we had a flea infestation after taking in some rescue animals. I didn't know I had to wash them and deflea them before I used this product. It is a REPELLENT but will not help if you already have a problem. Initially I said to get an exterminator to rid your home and yard before applying any type of repellent. I still stand by that and it is the only thing that helped me. Now I'll use this Spray on my animals to repel future pests. I was hasty when I purchased the product and also when I reviewed it. I apologize.

The spray worked as described and kept the fleas off of our 8 pound poodle. I sprayed under his belly every third day and we saw no more fleas. As such, I would give this product a very good rating. Some of the kids complained of the smell but I happen to like the citronella-like, lemongrass scent over a chemical smell any day and I love the idea of giving our pet an all-natural product over chemical sprays.

Dog Lovers;Take Notice
This is a great product. It lives up to what it advertises. No fleas, no ticks. This is remarkable, considering how much our girl is outdoors and walking around in the woods. Our home is surrounded by trees, deer, and coyotes...a party zone for ticks. This repellent does the job, and is a natural product. If you are one who likes to give your pet the best, then this product is for you!

I have been using this product for a few weeks now on my small dog and as far as I can tell it works. I have not had a chance to take her to any usual hiking spots where she has picked up ticks in the past so I can't say for sure it works on ticks. I haven't found any fleas on her so I would say it works well so far! she is outside in the yard a lot, with other dogs on the other side of the fence and no fleas have found her. In the past if I missed a dose of flea treatment I would undoubtably find a couple of fleas on her.I do find the scent a little strong, I wish it did not have citronella oil in it, not sure what could be used as an alternative to this but I'm not crazy about the smell. That being said, I'd rather have to deal with a slightly obnoxious smell than with the poisons used in most flea and tick products. The customer service was great with Terra pets
The customer service was great with Terra pets. They contacted me immediately when I wasn't happy with the product and sent me another bottle of the spray to use free of charge. It must be noted that your yard and pet can not have fleas before using this product. I treated my yard and then my dogs. My main concern was my chihuahua who seems to be a flea magnet. I used a flea shampoo only and then the terra oil and spray. This did not seem to work. I then used a topically flea treatment and then daily use the oil and spray. This seemed to help and I was able to prolong the reapplication of the topically flea treatment (i.e. frontline). My hope was to not have to use the frontline at all but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Using it on two small dogs - works great so far!!
We have been using both the drops and the spray together. First of all, I love how this product smells! I know the smell doesn't contribute to its effectiveness but I do love that it smells so good! Second, we recently moved from a concrete jungle in Southern California to a green, lush part of the Midwest and were naturally concerned about fleas and ticks on our small dogs. We've been using the product about a month, and I've only seen one flea on one dog. I'm so thankful! Lastly, something I didn't expect was that my dogs would bite and lick their feet less after being outside. Ever since we started using this product it seems that their foot irritation has lessened considerably. I'm not sure if that's common or to be expected but I'm certainly pleased with it. We are extremely satisfied with Terra Pet Naturals products and would recommend them to friends.Just a side note, I do tend to use less on the smallest dog only because she weighs less than 10 pounds and it still seems to work great on her.

I don't think this is working well for my dog. It leaves his hair sticky and knotted from just a few spritz. I've tried a few times, although he hates the smell & runs away. It doesn't work well with mosquitos at least. Maybe for fleas and ticks? But I don't use it often because I'm not seeing great results, and the knotted hair is frustrating.Honestly, it smells amazing in my opinion. But I'm just not sure about it. Will continue to try it sparingly.
