I am female, 5'5" and 130 lbs. For reference, I have bought two pairs of the Match Men's cargo pants now (you can see my measurements in that review 'holy grail'), one size 30 and one size 29. 30 sits lower on my hips, 29 fits right at the bellybutton, both are comfortable. Reviews for these shorts are mixed, some say they're too small, some say too big. I ordered size 29 in these shorts and the order says 'Label size M/30 (US 29)". In any case, the sizing matches that of the size 29 pants I ordered. They fit just right.

I am glad I read the reviews because people were right, these do run small. I ordered a size bigger based on reviews and they fit perfectly. I do love them however I ordered plum and the tag says plum but they are definitely not plum. They are a bright red but I happen to like the red so I will be keeping them. The quality is very good and I love all the pockets. I am giving them a 4 star but if the color was more accurate they would get a 5.
