Thank you!ORIGINAL REVIEW: I had a clip like these for years and really missed it once it broke. I eventually decided to replace, and was initially very pleased with these. They're are really pretty and a good size. One of them (the one I used the most) broke after 6 weeks, though. I hope the other lasts, but the one that broke was the more nuetral color that went with more, so I'm very disappointed..

The spring mechanism fell apart one week into use. I have has this happen before on other clips, but not one week into use. The plastic is sturdy, but it is of no use without a spring to keep it closed. I could not make out if the plastic broke and then the pin fell out, but there was sound then it fell apart. Pity it was a pretty clip and it held my hair well while it worked.The free return process is fast and easy. Kudos to Amazon.

I am trying to really baby my hair, not use metal or anything with harsh edges in it, and this is great--strong, well made, and without mold marks that are rough on hair. If there were other colors I liked I would buy them!

This was a gift purchase and the woman screamed the first time she put her hair up because her hair stayed up where she wanted it to be. She told me she has bragged to her co-workers about the strength. Of the claw clasp. She is delighted.
