ja, nicht nur Detroit lebt mittlerweile in der 3. Produzentengeneration weiter, auch Chicago tut dies mit dieser CD in ganz grossem Stil. Die Geburtsstadt von House wird hier, ich muss schon sagen grandios, durch Melvin Oliphant III vertreten. Schon die Dirty Criminals CD auf Gigolo, sowie einige Veröffentlichungen auf Creme Organization, zeigten Traxx in Höchstform.Faith ist ausschließlich mit altem, analogen Equipment produziert, dies hört man jedem Track an, und das ist auch gut so. Was auffällt sind die sehr guten Vocals, vor allem die von Nancy Fortune.Ich fühle mich ins Jahr 1988 zurück versetzt, wobei ich nicht von Stilstand spreche, hätte es damals 10 solcher Tracks auf CD gegeben, ich hätte nicht gewusst, was ich vor lauter Freude getan hätte.Schön das es Leute gibt, die alte Chicago-Tracks schätzen und diese auf ihre Art weiterentwickeln und dem Jetzt zur Verfügung stellen.
