TSSPLUS PM2.5 Air Purifying Face Mask Muffle Carbon Filter Dust Haze Fog Respirator Lot

I've been tearing through surgical masks so I decided to try a reusable one to minimize waste. Took like a week but it finally arrived in a small plastic package inside a padded envelope. It came with a couple of filters but I haven't installed one yet. Lining inside the filter pocket is soft so it seems like there at least 2 (maybe 3?) layers before you use the filter but it's a little on the snug side even though it doesn't look like it's fits close. The ear loops came already pulled to their furthest position. Air flow while okay is noticeably reduced compared to a surgical mask, so I probably wouldn't do much strenuous activity with it. It does have a metal piece to help it conform to your nose. I'm 5'5" I don't think my head is particularly large and it fits but it seems like this might be better suited to a teen or maybe just someone petite. Also after the first quick test fitting, a couple hours later I felt like I might have inhaled some fibers so washing it before your first use might be a good idea.

The materials used to make this mask severely limit the flow of air in and out of the mask, making it hard to breathe unless you're sitting still. Even normal activities, like walking or going up stairs, quickly make this mask uncomfortable. Air flow is so restricted that I found myself lifting the bottom of the mask just to get enough air. When I exhaled the edges of the mask ballooned out to exhaust my breath. That defeats one of the main purposes of the mask - keeping unfiltered air from getting out. There appears to be an external filter, but it's just a piece of foam in a plastic holder on the front of the mask. I couldn't feel any air coming out of it when I exhaled. When I contacted the sellers and asked to return the mask, I was offered about half a refund and I could keep my mask - ostensibly to save them the return postage. I told them that the mask is unusable, and I reminded them of their "100 satisfaction guaranteed" promise on Amazon. I told them I would tell Amazon about this. They quickly refunded my money. Their mask is in my trash.

too small for my husband's long face. It doesn't cover his chin and is uncomfortable around the ears no matter how much it is adjusted.

This is the best mask I've bought and I have tried 6 different ones.
