J'ai acheté ce livre pour me remettre à l'aquarelle sans opter pour un thème ou un sujet précis. Il m'a permis de renouer avec la technique et de m'initier à la peinture abstraite. Pourtant ce livre utilise toutes sortes de techniques, y compris les techniques mixtes. En fait, les exercices sont très bien faits ; on peut les prendre dans l'ordre qu'on veut et varier les thèmes proposés (formes, lignes, couleurs, composition, etc.) ou suivre le fil des pages. Il n'y a pas de pas à pas, juste des illustrations pour comprendre l'exercice de façon à l'interpréter comme on le sent. On peut même s'interrompre pour poursuivre les idées qu'ils font naître en nous.
