**Q: Do the wheels lock?**
A: yes. I purchased this for a friend who was recovering from surgery, but was able to work from home. It was important that it could be locked in place. Even though she is better, she still loves it because she can move it into the living room and work from a comfy chair

**Q: I have a thick/tall mattress.   is the max height of the side 33.5" or is the table 33.5" high?  picture isn't clear**
A: The desk might have trouble fitting over the bed if you're using a bed frame. It works well for me with the mattress and box spring being on the floor.

Everything seemed ok when putting it together...until the end. The included hardware would not screw into the leg. I have to rig it with something else - certainly not what I want to do. Once I have it together it is not that sturdy. Also the wheels keep locking whenever we move it, which makes it hard to move once you are in bed. The design on the boards is a nice feature compared to the plain black.
