I'm in a constant buy mode when it comes to beard shampoos and conditioners. It's a side-effect of shaving your head bald. I recently found a beard shampoo bar that I think will become my regular beard shampoo. I didn't like their bar conditioner. I also had found a regular "hair" conditioner that I liked a lot but it was drying my beard out. I can't stress how important the scent of a beard shampoo or conditioner is. Your mustache sits right below your nose. Now, go outside and work in the cold. You inhale more in the cold so a bad scent just ruins a good product.I saw this Grizzly Conditioner and hadn't ever heard of it. I saw one of my favorite scents, orange peel. So, I ordered it and have to say this is really good. The scent is a slight orange/slight citrus and very clean smelling. Those two go together perfectly. If you've ever use a salon shampoo or conditioner with the real clean scent, that's what this reminds me of and the hint of orange. I've used it twice so far and my beard isn't dry! That's really all I ask from a conditioner is smell good and moisturize my beard. It does both very well. Now, I'm going to go see if they have shampoo! The bottles are also good and that matters if you're like me and crumple your shampoo and conditioner bottles. Real good job on this product. If for some reason it stops working, I will post an update but I don't expect that to happen since this is a very drying part of the year for my area. My wife was kind of jealous. She has naturally, kind of kinky, curly hair and the dryness has a field day with her hair. She was saying, "What did you put on your beard? I use oils and masques for my hair but it's still a frizzy mess!" I'll never convince her that I always liked the frizzy mess look but she also won't ever find out where I keep this at either!

Have you ever noticed that most beard conditioners say on the label "use two to three times a week"? What is up with that? I have a beard that hangs down to my upper chest and even though I use beard butter to help shape it and keep it moist during the day, not having a daily conditioner was a drag. Especially in winter when everything about me feels like it could crackle away from dryness. I need daily conditioning. This stuff is great. No frills. I wash with Maestro's shampoo, condition with this stuff, and then hit my beard with Maestro beard butter after drying off. It's the perfect trifecta of beard care for me. Although this stuff is basically odorless, my nose does pick up a bit of citrus smell which is totally fine with me. It's not overpowering, believe me, but for me it's definitely there and I find it quite pleasant.Like most niche products, the price point here can sting a bit. $21? For conditioner? But it's worth it. It's one of the few indulgences I allow myself and think you should too. Just buy it. Don't look any further. This is the one.

This is the fourth beard softener I have tried on my brillo beard and have finally found one that works. Tried the one for vikings, tried the best ever, and another I cannot recall, and they are now languishing and ready for disposal. After using Beard Necessities for two weeks my beard is finally, reasonably soft and manageable. It is not inexpensive, however it works very well and therefore worth the extra few dollars.

I looked through tons of reviews for tons of products. I have tried just about every different kind of oil balm and cream. I did realize that some of the reviewers were incentivized with a coupon, which isn't that big a deal to me. I however was not and purchased this product hoping it works.Well it does. I love it. It has a very light orange smell and made my beard feel amazing and soft after only using it once. I followed the directions and left it in for a few minutes before rinsing. I did use a beard wash from another maker first. I have a feeling the bottle will last me a long time as a little goes a long way (made the mistake of overdoing it the first time) and I will definitely be ordering again.

This is a great product. I have read that you don't use conditioner made for head hair on your beard and I was. I have a curly beard and it was always dry and wild looking even using oil. The first time I used this conditioner and still wet in the shower I was impressed. My beard felt like hair and not tiny wires. My longish beard now curls and looks groomed instead of "going all over the place." It is softer, and just looks nicer. I will now be a regular customer. Thanks for your great product. Awesome product! I have about a months growth and this product has a very noticeable effect on how soft my facial hair feels and also how healthy it looks after using it. One warning I will give on this product, a little goes a LONG way, so start with a small amount and add more as needed. I use about the tiniest drop I can and it coats my small growth and then some. Smell is a mild citrus which I love. If you need something to keep your beard or mustache soft and nourished, try this product and you will love it. These are fantastic products. After a few weeks of use my beard is now softer than Sean Bradley was in the paint. It's smoother than Kyrie Irving's up and under layup. Honestly, I've used a litany of other products for my beard and Beard Necessities far surpasses all of those. The conditioner does great for softness and the oil is by far the most effective I've used. The beard oil lasts throughout the day and doesn't dry out quickly. It's a perfect combination of what I need in a beard product. It doesn't leave a greasy or overly shiny finish. The Citrus beard oil smells great. The smell is natural and not overpowering. It tames the stray hairs and keeps my manly face shield in check. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
