Review: Aesthetics & Comfort - I am so thrilled to have this mat--I purchased the matching cushion--aesthetically it is really pleasing to the eye---almost starts your meditation practice before you decide to sit--at least it is an excellent visual to encourage you to sit for your practice. It is very comfortable and made very well--the fabric is sturdy. If I had one concern it would be when it comes time to launder it--the seams are only single stitched vs double stitch--just means you will need to be mindful to handwash and hang dry when the time comes to clean. I am enjoying my purchase every single day. Kim

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well made cotton cushioned mat

It is a well made meditation mat with a removable cover that can be easily washed, this is an important feature that I look for all of my furnishings. The inside cushion is filled with cotton in a cotton fabric cover. I use this mat for my floor dining set up. The mat is wide enough for perfect coverage when sitting in a cross-legged position. The cotton cushioning is sufficient for me but I am used to sitting on harder surfaces on the floor. I know that the product description gives a thickness of 2.5 inch but once you sit on it, the mat will compress and perhaps one will be an inch from the actual floor. This isn't an issue for me from a comfort point of view but I can see this not being comfortable for some people. The advantage of cotton cushions is that the body stays still which is not the case with say foamed cushion pads or mats that are thicker.
